This year got me a Surefire Socom 2 .30 cal suppressor for DD MK18, just bought a Sako S20 6.5 Creedmoor with Sig Sauer BDX Hilo2400 scope and range finder combo, and my Xbox series X was delivered on Dec 24th. So for now I'm happy.

5 new burners, and the top hats to cover them for my BBQ. TECHNICALLY, it was a gift from my girlfriend-in-law. She gave us $500 cash, then she texted the wife that I took the little box of cash out of the bag I SWEAR, I was going to give you 1/2 in bed later. . .

I did NOT get rid of these extra 20 pounds I have gained from sitting home and drinking away half of this year. Don't get me wrong, I drank before but I was way more active. Now I have a knee/hip injury that is slowing down my activity

I hate getting old

Santa delivered my ASRV workout gear this morning. Had a hard time spending that much money on gear to wear to the gym, but I take this shit seriously. Side note: when the hell did decent quality sweatpants become so damn expensive????

Last night I got my new indoor/outdoor weather station, with barometric, atomic clock, and control over the screen (3 lighting levels) Plus, the base has a cord option, so I don't need to run batteries in it.

Just ordered another one for the cabin. . .

Is that somehow needed/related to this "rain" thing :

He's in southern California. You can take it to the bank that his weather station also doesn't have a rain gauge!

My home weather stations (because you can't just have one ) have a combined 7 rain gauges, 5 anemometers, 3 UV/solar radiation sensors, 6 temp/humidity sensors, and 8 different barometers. We also have weather here, like the light sleet falling outside as I write this.....

I had this little tumbler thing that I used once in a while, when watering my lawn. Didn't seem to work all that well

Can I go outside with just my Aloha, or has the temp dipped below 68 and I need a jacket??? Is there enough humidity in the air that I might need an extra 3 minutes to squeegee the dew off my truck windows before driving safely to work???

I share my weather data with the US National Weather Service, as well as many online weather sites.

When I was forced into involuntary retirement from racing 4 years ago, I picked up a side gig testing pre-production home weather station hardware for two different manufacturers. Can't name them because of NDA agreements.

Here is an example graph of two different SHT31 temperature/humidity sensors located next to each other, each in a different manufacturer's solar radiation shield to protect them from heating by the sun:

The problem with having so many weather stations is that I'm never 100% sure which one is RIGHT on any given day!!!!!
