G80 vs Emira
I know not many people will be cross shopping the G8X and Lotus Emira but given pricing is presumed to be relatively similar what are your thoughts?
Single with a cat so I don't need four seats

I was going to pre order one but, I saw some leaked pricing and it just doesn't make sense. Sure it looks good but, for the performance, $100k is too much. I'll be sticking with my M for the foreseeable future.

Well do you want a more purist sports car which will undoubtedly be more fun to drive and much more exotic feeling? Or do you want arguably the best sports sedan with a lot of today’s tech and creature comforts? Do you need 5 seats and decent luggage space?
I would get a manual Emira ALL DAY if I didn’t have a fam or need a sedan/car with space. These cars will never truly be cross shopped imo, you could MAYBE with the M2CS. The real competition for the Emira - Porsche Cayman/Boxster/911, Audi R8, C8 Corvette Z06, etc

I have a reservation for an Emira and I am putting in an order for a M3 this week. I have no clue which I want. Speed is not everything. I prefer handling over a cars speed. The M3 is more practical, but I can probably deal with the Emira as a daily. If I can't I will sell it for a profit.
