Ordered an IOMG/KO M3!

After two great years with a beautiful IMOLA Red F80 Competition, I ordered a new Isle of Man G80 M3 Competition from Weatherford BMW in Berkeley, CA. I opted for the Kyalami Orange Extended leather interior w/ the carbon bucket seats. Expect to take delivery in March and cannot wait!

Congrats did they charge any mark up? I have an order placed with bmw SF just waiting for production to start its been about a month since I got the allocation

2 month lead time? Not bad at all. I like the sound of your build, too. IOM will be a cool color and I'm interested in seeing it person.

When did you place the order, I placed my December 7, 2020 and still no production number, a this rate I'll get my in April or May.

Nope, no markup at all! This is the third M3 I've purchased from Weatherford so not sure if that is the case for others but am very happy regardless.

I placed the order on 1/6 and luckily, the dealer was able to get an allocation with a short lead time for me at the last minute!

That’s so funny. I just ordered a 6MT G80 from Weatherford. They offered me your comp slot but I wanted a manual. So I’m glad you got the allocation. Our cars will probably show around the same time. Good stuff!

I just created a new "G8X Norcal BMW" group there for owners in the Greater Bay Area but haven't promoted yet since the platform is still so new but please feel free to join if you're on Facebook. Wow- very cool. I’m really not on any social media. We heve two young kids so the chances of me actually getting much free time for a meet up is nil. That’s actually why I’m so excited about this car. First time I get to have a super fun car as my main ride. I used to have a “responsible” car and a fun car. But in reality if I can’t throw my kids in it I won’t drive it. Will be cool to see you around town for sure. This is also my first time registering for a car site. At least I can do this at night when the family is asleep. Yay hobbies!

Sorry OP to steal you thunder but I thought instead of making another post I'd just share with you since our builds are so similar. Hope you don't mind?

So I finally put my order in after months of debate and saying yes I'm gonna order and no I'm out lol. No confirmed allocation but the dealer is hoping by mid February they'll know for sure on a build time. Hoping it comes through as I'm so excited.

I never thought I'd want the Isle of Man color but after seeing a post a couple days ago on the forum with the orange interior by jT024 I changed my mind. I originally was going to go with Brooklyn gray but just not sold on the primer look. I may add the executive package but for now this is it!

I think it took about 1-2 weeks to progress from Start to Production Begins on the tracker on the BMW USA My Garage website. The waiting really is the hardest part!
