Well, if you want to make 100% sure there is no issue with warranty, the only „safe" thing is to get the M Performance Coilovers from BMW itself.

They introduced that with the M2 I think and will slso be available for the new M3/M4. They are basically from KW, but exclusivly manufactured and branded for BMW.
The only thing to keep in mind is that you can lower max 20mm. With KW you can go more, so to the max 40mm that is legal in CH

The side please!

Oh, and of course maybe a little trip report?

The pictures don't incline me to look back when I walk away like the F80. The G80 makes me hope someone steals it before I return. Maybe I'll have a different opinion when I see it in person.

Anything you're able to get we would be happy to see. Direct side shots, overhead shots looking down, etc.

Ok I already asked the dealer to check the price for the MP-HAS and he doesn't know. also he said it looks like you then have to change the complete suspension, not only the coilover so it will be a costy option...M2 was I think about 3'500 CHF or something ?

20mm is absolutely ok for me, I don't want it too low but still a little lower than stock...
and thank you !

Took these two shots this morning , surprised the hot SPY haven't melted the snow. I'll get more this afternoon.

I love it so much with the YMB interior but I just hate the amount of attention bright cars garner from law enforcement. My LBB M2 was a cop magnet where I'm at. My MGM F80 flies under the radar much better.

Not sure what you dealer means, but the MP-HAS is not only coilovers, it is the full suspension and for installing there is not much difference, as even if you only would change the springs, you anyway would have to take the full suspension out for installing...

I don't know the price, but I think for the M2 it was around there...and install costs will be again around 1k, a bit less usually...

Happy to help

Great pictures. This shade of yellow will convince main actors from a popular cartoon wearing overalls and diving masks to place their own orders.

I found the following info about the M Performance HAS for the M2 Comp in the M Performance Catalogue. I would be willing to bet that it is exactly the same partwise as will be offered for the G80/82 with possibly minor adjustments for the difference in weights. It consists of the coilovers only, with associated hardware. Price quoted in the US is $2,860. The price quoted by my dealer for the kit and installation is $4,147, so $1,287 for installation. Something to think about.

For the F80/F82, it was just springs. Pretty sure it will be the same for this generation. mkoesel can perhaps expand on this.

Ahh okey, I thought it would be the same now for the G80 as it is for the M2

Front and rear from the dog's view perspective. You don't see the car that way unless You are 60cm (2 feet) tall
