Man these dark colored parts on the lower front, side skirts and diffuser have such an aftermarket vibe, which I'm never a fan of. I can't understand why they don't offer an option without it or at least the choice to have these parts in the exterior color.

That‘s the main reason I changed my exterior color from Brooklyn Grey. I didn’t think it contrasted well.

Every time I see Brooklyn Grey it reminds me that I cannot order this color unless I see it in person! I want a paint color that is reflective, but I also don't want it to be dark so that it contrasts well with the CF and black accents.

Video quality is poor and the car still has protective stuff on it so I'm still in limbo

I'm not into the whole "primer" look that became fashionable several years ago with Nardo Grey, Lime Rock Grey (on the CS) and the Kia Stinger Ceramic Grey. Yas Marina Blue FTW!!!!

This was the color I wanted to order but was waiting to see it in person. Probably going to go Toronto Red if I don't like it

So far I've only liked this kind of primer grey in person on the RS5. I don't think I've seen Nardo or Lime Rock in person on an F8x. I didn't like Ceramic Grey on the Stinger when I saw it in person. Not to mention the similar grey on Tacoma's and what not!

But when I see such grey in pics I mostly like it. That's why I can't wait to see Brooklyn Grey on the G8x in person to decide.

I really want a nice blue but Tanzanite is too dark for my taste and I might consider Portimao (along with IOMG & TR) if I don't like Brooklyn Grey in person. I'm also considering individual but not sure I should spend the $ on it

Portimao is just "dark blue." That's all. It's really a very boring blue, but then again, my San Marino Blue CS bores the sh*t out of me. It's way too dark.

I went Toronto Red on Silverstone bucket seats because at least TR is light and will highlight the CF well. My subsequent G80 will be either Fire Orange or Yas Marina Blue, once they open up the individual orders for US cars.

Agreed, especially on the lighter colors. I would most likely take the car to a paint supplier and have them scan the color and make me a quart of urethane + clear to shoot paint on those parts. Take your time and do it right...would be "custom" too !

The rear diffuser piece wrapping around to the rear wheels is bugging me. It's too lumpy, it's too...

It real name is 2018 grey

For real though these were traditional/historical VAG colors with Nardo for Audi and Fashion Grey for Porsche. The trend has gotten way over done now.

That looks a ton lighter than what I thought it would be. Really on the light side like a tinted white.

Hmmm, might change to Toronto red if I get one

We need a good look at a Dravit gray M3. Brooklyn is too light IMO. Also wish they would have shown those orange carbon buckets better.

Having seen it in person I think it's actually nice. I like it a little better than Estoril. It has some character to it. If I can't get my individual color to work out PB is my second choice. The darker will also help blend with the grilles some and keep them from standing out as much.

(not my pics - mine would have been much better. I don't know why people only seem to ever take front and rear quarter views)

Yas Marina blue is basically north carolina blue with silver flakes right?

Wait pb is "dark blue"? Thought it was like estoril blue which is far from dark blue.

I am opposite I can't stand yas (baby) blue but love estoril, San Marino, interlagos (wish they brought that back)
