Do the base and Competition models have different exhaust systems?

Is the exhaust (note or system) different between the base and Competition models?

As far as the official specs go, no. There is absolutely no mention of an upgraded exhaust system in the press material or other official media. Until deliveries start, that will not be verifiable first hand, but officially the difference between the models is the transmission, engine tune, and minor aesthetic details (including, incidentally, the exhaust tip color).

Certainly a different tune can result in aural changes, so the Competition model may indeed sound a bit different. It will be best determined in a side-by-side comparison which we’ll see very soon.
