M4 Cab from a Panamera 4S?

Am I crazy for considering this? I have a fully loaded Panamera 4S I got about 2.5 years ago, but I'm really looking for a smaller car + convertible. I also need it to have rear seats (however small) and AWD. I was thinking of trade-ing towards a Porsche 911, but pricing just seems so crazy to me compared to an M4. An M8 isn't a bad option either, especially since they leave so well, but I know they aren't going to be making them anymore this year. Am I crazy to be considering switching from a Panamera to an M4?

You're not crazy because you're interested in a smaller convertible with usable rear seats and AWD. M4 delivers that and will perform well if you're coming from a Panamera 4S.

Are you worried about missing the luxury part of the Panamera? It's a sweet car so yeah, you might miss some of that. But if you want a smaller more nimble car and a convertible, then that's what you want. Not crazy at all. Assuming you can stomach the depreciation and all that, of course.

Yes. Looking at the M8 cab more-so now, seems like a better fit. Thank you for the feedback though guys!

The M8 is definitely more comparable from a luxury standpoint, of course as long as you're okay with the old style horizontal grills

Those old style grills are so tiny.
