2025 M4 CS (G82) confirmed! Production begins 7/2024
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com Source (@ynguldyn): https://www.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=901686. "M4 CS will be in production 07/24-06/25. Virtually the same car as the current M3 CS but with two fewer doors and some headlight changes (no laserlights)." With G8x having a longer production run, I would expect BMW to introduce another special limited run towards the end of the lifecycle as well. |

Whats the difference between it and the CSL? Is the CSL more exclusive and lightweight?

True, but compared to a 911, the model variations are still a few only. And nobody ever complaint about those. And one sells better than the other.

Will be very curious to see what this does to the M3CS- especially if the color offerings are better. |

Willing to bet it’ll have these headlights and refreshed taillights plus the same changes the m3 cs got in terms of visual/peformance changes outside and inside

Aside from any perceived drop in value on the CSL, I think this is a good call from BMW.
The CSL has received some criticism on its acceleration performance (from a dig) given how tail happy it is with so much power. The M-XDrive is near unanimously praised for being best of all worlds. M4 CS is the special edition for me. Some amount of weight reduction, more power, titanium exhaust, more aggression. I’ll be calling today to see about securing a spot. Wonder what color options they’ll offer…

Also, if all the M cars go hybrid, I think they’ll be outrageously good and won’t sound half bad. |

I think we need more detail, specifically price and volume - no?

Here come the fanboys who think the CS is gonna be some amazing version that’s vastly different than the civic. CS gonna depreciate like all the other M cars before it.

Just like the 911 range, M, Mcs, Mcsl range is well defined within the M lineup as well. G80 CS production numbers is low when compared with previous generation and i dont think adding G82 CS is going to create any negative impact.
