It’s not speculation, it was sold at the BMW store in Cincinnati Ohio.

The biggest mistake BMW has made is the Mustang stripes with the red piping as well as releasing the m3 CS xdrive (which is just as quick) for far less than a CSL.
Rumors of an M4 CS too…. CSL owners Get out while you can 🤣 |

Even if the owner didn't pay ADM, they lost at least ~$18,000 on the sale. Only to drive the car 94 miles.
$145,575 + tax + ppf...all in about $164k |

Or close to it. I watch BaT auctions purely for entertainment. Few thought that there are some super extra special specimens there of certain automobiles and they overpaid dearly. |

Here in Puerto Rico there is a dealer selling one for $240k right now. With the local taxes it should be selling for about $192k here. Yet this one is advertised for $240k.

I’ve seen a few instances of the Civic Type R and Corolla GR flippers getting burned big time recently. Same with new Broncos. I Expect that trend will thankfully continue.

I saw one at a local dealer so I peeked in and they are asking $50K ADM. They told me it's a great deal.

This makes me curious how many limited-run specials make it down to PR. Are there any tracks on the island you can use? Any drag strips even? I'm very unfamiliar with Puerto Rican life but I find it interesting that a dealer would order a very track-focused car, and even mark it up by $50k, when it seems like there's little room to explore its limits on road and no tracks (afaik) to use it at. Not sure would would buy besides collectors. But why would collectors live in Puerto Rico?

What is your definition of far less? By the time you put in the CCBs in the M3CS, you're practically looking at just a few thou under the CSL price.

But you'd be surprised at the number of high end and exotics sold and driven here. Plenty of Shelbys, GTRs, M3s, Lambos, Ferraris, McLarens, etc. G Wagons are plentiful too if it tells you anything. No Bugattis or Paganis though. And (with very few exceptions) the roads are horribly kept for any car, let alone exotics. Yet... They're here. |

Wouldn’t it be far cheaper to just buy in mainland US and ship/import? That BAT M4 CSL, shipping (3-4k?), and import tax (7500?). Maybe there’s more fees I’m not aware of but guessing it’s not an extra 90k worth? 😀

BaT has a significant backlog of cars waiting to go live. You can’t just call them up and get your car listed within a week.
These cars were bought by people with the intention of flipping the car.

Import tax here is definitely NOT $7500 on a 2023 M4 CSL. Try $55484. See here straight from our Treasury page.
