Vic55 Such an outstanding car, congrats for such a beauty! Maybe you or someone else can help:

I intend to order an M5 comp. also in aventurine red. Saw yesterday in person a 4series and was blown away as I saw aventurine!!! I was asking the BMW Product genius, if that is aventurine ii or iii. Toady I got the answer, it was iii. As far as i know the F90's will be painted in aventurine ii. So, is there any visible and true differences between this two different aventurines? I pray not!

Oh wow I had no idea there were multiple shades. Im not sure what I have LOL.

But Ill bet since mine is a 22, its version iii.

yes, yours is very likely aventurin iii,
I cannot imagine there can be an obvious difference, otherwise they should give the color a totally other name. Would be misleading if it is really different I think.

Zero and I mean zero regrets on this color.

I have had Guards Red and Carmine red with my Porsche's and Rosso Corsa with my Ferrari 458--- this is my fave red just barely over Carmine:

Vic55 Beautiful car! Does your car have a partial or full clear wrap?

I am waiting till the last second to pick a color waiting for allotment very soon. I am partial to the AR coming from a ford Ruby Red. I initially picked IOMG because I was able to see it in person and looks 10x better than any pic or vids. I have the sneaky suspicion that AR is the same way. Your pics draw out the color better than other photos/vids I have seen. Unfortunately, the dealer could not find any model BMW in AR within 100 miles for me to get my eyes on.

I love Carmine for its rich and deeper tones. Guards is bit more orangish but not as much as Toronto with the G8X.

Vic55 thank you for your posts. I wasn't sure of the color I wanted to order until I saw your M3. My local dealer happened to have an 8 series convertible on the show room. The color was even more impressive than your photos depicted.

What do you guys think of Tartufo interior with Aventurin? I'm trying to decide on that vs. Ivory. With Ivory I can get the carbon bucket seats, so that's one plus.

So I tried to duplicate a pic in the same or similar location today but with less lighting since its really cloudy today...

In the lack of lighting the car is very deep not so robust versus minor orange hints in the sun
