Thanks for the input. I'm yet to see the bi-color 826s on AR. Hadn't fully considered them. I'm with you though, leaning towards 826 for sure.

Yeah, Vic55's car did the trick for me too. I put my order in today, I went with the black wheels. I almost got the black calibers but, went with the red instead. Now, I too have to wait for an allocation. Funny thing is, today I just discovered Oxide Gray on a M3 on YouTube. That color made me think twice so, I had to check out these AR photos again just to be sure.

AR is a gorgeous color and probably what I'd get my G80 in. That said, I saw an Oxide Gray in person and it had a great presence, classy, and more interesting than Brooklyn. Oxide with a tartufo interior would make an incredibly rich looking combination.

Its my fave M color that I personally have ever had with Portimao right up there too. All my other M's were white with a Steel Gray and LeMans Blue appearance.

I am still yet to see AR in person (unfortunately), so my buddy sent me some pics of an X3 he just got in at his dealership. Figured I would share them here so others could see. I was a bit underwhelmed by the pics, but obviously realize this is on a base X3 and not a G80😂.

I think I'm settled on switching my order to Aventurin Red -- huge thanks Vic55 for all of the photos, and no way I would've gone for it without them had I only had the website renderings to go off of.

Now, time to decide on the interior: I'm between Tartufo, Silverstone, and Ivory White. Here's how I see each option:
-Tartufo: interiors in a medium brown like this tend to be my favorite, and it's probably my number 1 right now, but I worry that the combo with AR could be a little too "old-man-ish" for the character of the car. I also haven't seen Tartufo in person, and it looks great in some photos and looks a little oversaturated/inorganic in others, so I'm not sure how it will be in person.
-Silverstone: very sporty, looks great in Vic's car, but I'm worried the design with all of the different accents and inserts might not age as well as just a solid color.
-Ivory White: splits the difference; sportier than Tartufo, but more classic than Silverstone. The downside is that I'm slightly suspect of how white leather will hold up, and I think that while I'm probably least likely to regret this combo, I'm also least likely to really love it.

Anyone have any thoughts? Also, is there anyone else here that's ordered AR? Crazy how uncommon the color seems -- from looking at the forum and Autotrader at incoming cars, it legitimately seems like some full-blown individual colors are more common than this.

I ordered an AR and did the silverstone for the sporty look as well. I did like Tartufo as well and saw it at my local dealer but decided to stay with the silverstone

For an AR exterior, I'd pick Ivory or Silverstone interior.
Probable I'd choose Ivory but I believe Silverstone would get less stains in an everyday use, if that's not an issue, for me Ivory is the best.

I only placed my order a few weeks ago so the production isn't scheduled until June. It's 6 weeks after that for delivery.

Anyhow, my order was for Skyscraper grey with orange Kyalami extended interior. Grey is nice, but I've always thought it was a very boring color too. Maybe you could almost call it silver? I have been thinking about changing the exterior to AR and the interior to silverstone. Silverstone is one of my favorite interior colors and I think it goes really well with AR. (It would certainly not go well with skyscraper)

My only reservation is that I had a 2010 4Runner in Salsa Red which is very similar to AR, maybe a bit lighter. I never once thought 'wow that is a great color'. A few years later I had a silver 4Runner and that color I preferred over the Salsa Red.

Maybe some colors suite different vehicles better? I loved my Z4 in white, but I don't particularly like the M3 in white. My X6 is black sapphire and that's an amazing black color (when clean). Black just hides detail though...

I'll probably stick with SS metallic, but still contemplate AR for a bit.

AR pops to me on the G80. I think it's a color you won't see too often, which is exactly why I picked it. I was between AR and Tanzanite Blue II Metallic. Either way it's your choice and I think the SS will look good as well.
