Me too. Just check 5 minutes ago. Worth noting that if you are currently logged in the status would not change. I had to log out and back in again.

my allocation just moved into "Production Begins" for a Week 46 build. I called Genius yesterday and was told week 44 my production should begin, which he then said was this week but I was skeptical as everywhere else I look has next week as week 44...not exactly complaining about it though.

OK so just to add a little more detail into my situation after messaging with my advisor: "That was the quota 44 with confirmation by 46...usually means 44 worst case 46."

Strange because when they'd share production screens from their system my build was listed as 2021/11/46 under Conf Week column when it was in 111 status. Not complaining and hopefully this helps others in the thread with respect to their situation.

I just received a message from the dealership.
"Your vehicle is in a 112 status today, meaning, it could flip to 150 anytime, (starting production)"

Sounds like your CA is just trying to give you hope that it will go into production early. Your info shows it's week 46, I wouldn't expect anything before that.

Agreed, but latest screenshot from their system today shows the build as week 44 now...so I am going to hope that's the most accurate date

What if, BMW is giving priority to M4 since is more expensive.

Why I'm thinking this? The 2 dealerships I were in a queue for allocation(m3) did not received any into the last 2 months.

My M4 production has schedule 1 month after my deposit.

It's just my guess and theory.

I don't think it has anything to do with cost, they probably make around the same margins. More like.. In the past, 2 door had outsold 4 door, and maybe they don't want to flood the market with cars that will sit on lots (historically anyway).

This, my sales agent told me (at least in Spain) they sell 1 M3 for every 4 M4.
This may have something to do with that, I don't think it is the cost, which is negligible different for them.

My Sales guy is telling me on his side its still showing week 46.. This is so frustrating. i guess i will really find out once week 46 is here

One would think, with all of the technology and engineering talent BMW has at its disposal, that they would have the means of sending production updates directly to customers rather than requiring us to continually follow up via MyBMW, calls to SA's, and inquiries to Genius. <sigh>
