Short answer: it isn't possible unless you want both cheap (in quality and price) tires and wheels. The cheapest package you can put together on Tirerack is $ 3,117.64 USD due to available wheels and tires that'll fit properly. You'll spend $5000+ CAD for a BMW set. IMO, that's not unreasonable. This is for a G80/82, not a Corolla.

Do people get a full new set of winter tires and wheels or winter tires only for their M3? I'll only be leasing for 4 years, then switch to something new.

Is it worth buying the entire set for only 4 years of use?

Depends where you are. Im in NY and have a 3 year lease. I bought my winter set for 4k. But i've also decided to buy the car after lease period ends then resell it

I have them as well and was pleasantly surprised by how good they look when I picked up the car after having them installed. Not losing much by using these as winters.

Been rollin on these since Nov and only now getting heavy snow here in Missouri. I've gotta say that I'm impressed as they far exceeded my expectations. That also goes for the x-drive system all of which is new to me as I was a long time Lexus loyal. All in all they are worth the $!

I swap first week of April (it's risky, we can always have snow/freezing rain until mid-April), so in NYC you should do be able to swap earlier :P

Early April for me. We just had another snowfall yesterday and the roads were the worst I've seen all winter. Matted down slush that froze into a solid layer of ice with a surface of water once the salt hit it.....not nice. But generally, once the average temperature gets consistently above 7 degrees C (45 F) is what I've typically adhered to.

I do mid to end of April. The first week where the low temp is consistently 45 degrees or higher I swap over.

I start checking the 14 day weather forecast the end of March and make my decision based that.

$2900 + tax installed.... TPMS was $250 on top of it.... will put these on later in Nov when it's actually cold and Superspeed was kind enough to let me do a test fit since this is the first G8X car to be fitted to their wheels but they are confident about fitment based on specs

there were some cheaper rims but with these heavy gravity cast junk that any upfront savings you will give back at the pump easily. PA5s were also up there in price amongst tire choices, Blizzak LM-32 would've been ~$400 cheaper for example.
How were these wheels and tires through the winter?

Just ordered myself a low entry jack and a breaker bar. Time to swap the wheels back, can't wait!
