My understanding is that it takes a couple of days after the ship leaves for that info to become available. So I would think call Genius around Wednesday and hopefully they'll have an update

My car hit “at port” this past Thursday. Will be on the NYC ship, think theres a chance i made it on in time or will i be the 30th do you think?

I just spoke to genius, Mine is still showing at the port, arrived on the 19th, no status updates since in the system.

also, appears to be a fair number of people with week 1, 2 and 3 builds all waiting on a boat to nyc...

Called genius. They said no change and still at port. It'll be assigned a ship in 2-3 weeks.

Once you move to intransit you can call genius.
