Build week 8

Just got bumped to week 8. Hopefully this sticks This would be like the 9th time being bumped from order received to production scheduled.

I was told that Laser lights were the current culprit in my case. It was something else before. I guess my build was ransacked to help others.

same here just got off the phone with them. was originally requested for week one, given week 5, then given week 6, now got pushed to week 8. hopefully thats true? but these forums are full of disappointment lol

Haha. I don't want to be a veteran anymore. I read yesterday on here that someone walked into a dealership last weekend, placed an order and started production this week. How in the hell does this happen when we have been stuck for forever?

Agree! I asked that same question, how does BMW prioritize cars, "shouldn't it be FIFO (first in first out)" of my Dealership and they didn't have a good response.

Wow you guys have been bounced around like crazy. I have been week 8 ever since I got my production number over a month ago. Though I haven't checked w Genius in a couple of weeks.

Is anybody in here anything but status 111? I'm hoping we'll see some 112's this week.

Not sure if the post you saw was mine, but that's more or less what happened to me.

Except I took over an allocation from someone and I'm not sure when the order was initially placed. Found out the person backed out last week, updated the order and submitted it Thursday, status 112 on Friday.

I'm currently week 7 but who knows what it'll happen...might be joining y'all in 8 or more from the sound of how things are going

An allocation came open at a local dealer. Just placed a deposit and should have the paperwork in a few hours.

Just checked MyGarage and I am now scheduled for production. It must have flipped sometime between this morning when I last checked and this evening.

Mines got flipped to SCH for production as well.

Thanks! Tanzanite. Sort of individual? It's one of the colors that is considered individual but can be ordered just like the standard colors. I think. eg Dravit, Oxide, Aventurine, along with Tartufo and Fiona red interior.

Mine too! However, I have been here too many times so I am not going to get too excited until I see my VIN.
