US size plates are going to make it look even uglier up front.
Can't deny that it will drive better than it looks

Honestly I think the worst part about this car (besides the grille) is the lack of a power dome. That was one of my favorite distinguishing features of the M3 compared to it's rivals (rs5, c63, etc). On top of that they have to make the hood look like a damn charger. Also why do the M mirrors look jacked up compared to the e9x and f8x cars?

I am having a difficult time formulating an opinion. Too many angles. Need to see in person. For an hour. Anyone get the weight(s) yet?

Did anyone notice that the rear of the M3 is lacking a rear badge?

G82 looks like a scaled down M8.

Does anyone have the Reddit link, or did Bimmerpost actually leak the photos ahead of the embargo being lifted?

Now I have to patiently await for the G83.

Hey @frankiebones , get yourself a G83, but if your going to use a car to pick up a chick, nothing but a gold digger you'll score.

IIRC, those are EU mandated. The tire cannot extend beyond the fender, so they have to add the plastic fender lip as a workaround to the regulation.

The folks in the US are the ones that can remove.

You really need a front plate to cover up the grille.

The fender extensions are not expected for the us market. Has to do with fender width to wheel in regulations in Europe. Some countries m5s have them now. This topic was covered earlier in the threads as a mule had them. Curious if the us market press release has them in the photos
Little stupid cheap stick on pieces of plastic are not required, tire coverage is. They could either provide coverage via fender or use nicer flared pieces like on X5M.

Looks like dog shit. If I ever move on from my e92 and consolidate down to 1 car, I'll get an RS6 avant or SQ8. Audi continues to pump out much much better looking new vehicles.

Who says this is the awd version? In any case, it looks terrible. The M5 doesn't look to have such a big gap.

I'm glad BMW is taking risks with the colors on this car at least. I bet a Sao Paulo Yellow M3 with this interior and 6MT will have the highest resale value in several years.

@tonymac1 thank you! The interior and seats are really bomb. Sadly that alone is just not going to convince me to get one...
