I’m also assuming that if I decide to get an axle back down the road that most mfg would fit?

If you are going with our axle back 100% fitment! If choosing another brand I would always double check that it connects at the middle dimple cut points. Anyone making an exhaust for this model should be utilizing the dimple cut points.

What are your mods? Sure it's not rubbing on the brace?

I have had/seen many drone issues with single midpipes (MAD and other brands), it's 99.99% an install issue with the brace rubbing against the midpipe.

While it does eliminate the Secondary Catalytics, making it questionable whether it can be considered fully compliant, it will pass an emissions OBD2 test. Specifically, in the USA, there are no monitoring sensors in place to check the rear O2 sensors.

If your state does physical checks, it might not pass.

Volume-wise, that's where it definitely wakes up for me (only mod is single resonated mid). But I wouldn't call it drone.

Not calling it drone, what I meant was peak volume of the exhaust to my ears inside the car. I have no complaints or drone to be clear.

Did you ever get this sorted? I’m in the market for a mid pipe and want to avoid any rattling/drone (unwanted noises) with the mid pipe hitting the brace etc

I have a valve controller, and with the valves forced 100% open you feel the exhaust note inside the car between 2500-4000 rpm. Nothing is touching on my car and it still does it. I just think it’s something to do with the engine harmonics at that rpm. If I put the valves back into stock control (open 70%) it does go away, so it’s something with the harmonics of the remaining 30% the valve controller opens up. |

Are there any videos that shows the difference in Sound level during a cold start up, with the only exhaust modification being the Mad single midpipe or has anyone measured it?
Or is there anyone who can measure the current sound level who has only that Mod? I'm looking to compare start up compared to stock. |
