Any chance that the ECU flash is getting closer with this TCU flash or it's a different ball game to crack the ECU VS the TCU

I'm confused as to why it won't let me change down to 1st in any mode anymore?
So let's say I'm in Sports+, manually changing gears via paddles and I'm coming to stop, it'll only let me change down to 2nd, never 1st. I've tried all three Stages with the same result. Anybody managed to get around this for normal driving? |

If I'm being honest, I'm a warranty guy. However seeing this xHP trans flash being released is so so tempting. However I don't want to go into a dealer to hear oh your warranty is gone for the whole car. My G80 only has intakes and a dual res delete right now sooo…Can the dealer tell if it's been flashed with xHP I'm assuming yes.

With an aftermarket exhaust fitted, I really like the accentuated burbles I get coming from 3>2 and then 2>1 but obviously I lose that with the Xhp installed, seeing as I can no longer get into 1st gear. |

If you are recording a video, do a slow pull from M2 in Comfort from stand still, and when up to speed mention as you shift up first time that nothing happens and instrument cluster display still says 2nd (best to record RPM's as well and prove they do not drop as you would expect when you shift up). Then shift up again and the RPMs will drop and display will indicate 3rd gear Does that sorta make sense?

Im not an expert on this but I don't think that's a sign of the ECU flash getting any closer unfortunately

I have had the same issue since flashing mine to stage 3, I have now got it to launch In 1st gear with the latest update, if you follow the below it will work!
Change settings to the ones added in the pictures attached, keep traction control on, put it into sport+ with gearbox changes on the fastest (3) and keep it in auto. Once you have done the above all you do is press the brake hard like a normal launch and press the accelerator pedal all the way down and it will change to 1st! Once that's done build the revs up to around 3k like normal and off you go. I don't get a launch control active sign on display I just see the gear change to 1st. I was a little sceptical about this but my god it is now so easy to launch, no messing around with settings, just both pedals down and go! I hope this helps as it's been very confusing I must say. I'm still yet to get some draggy data but so far so good and feels fast. I hope this helps! |

This is my concern as well as this beast can lay down some torque. I am very tempted but I think I'm going to give this a few months out in the wild to see if any failures appear, transmission or motor.
