Had a professional installer, who strictly works on BMWS and AMGS. He has a lot of credibility i watched the install it was fine, it genuinely is the chip and i recommend anyone who mods to get a dragy to get real life data

Getting a bad--fill in the blank, electronic device is not uncommon. Have you talked to them? "Grinding noise" is bad, period. "Updated..." even worse. Good luck!

Definitely not before sept. Probably sometime in fall
I need to take delivery, get film, and put some miles on it first. But i should be able to knock off the 1200 mile service within 1-2 weeks after slapping on ppf.

Just to provide an update, I took my RaceChip off since I had to go to the dealership a couple of times and did not want them to say anything. Once I get back from the Kies Show I plan to datalog with the RaceChip and get more data on pump 93. Once I get that info I will let you all know. I did not have any real issues with the chip other than I did get a check engine light once but one of the plugs seemed loose. I re-connected it, cleared the codes and it did not come back on.

Bro I got a CEL as well, not limp mode though, P11c7 is the code. I was running map 6.

I'm returning this, probably wanna ask them to compensate for the installation as well. They claimed do it yourself but for g8x it definitely requires some special skill.

I asked them to compensate me for the install, their reply was "We can't because it's a self install process and we have people who've installed them". Like really? One of the sensors took my professional 40 mins alone to get done. I hate this company

tuning car is a risky business. A reputable local tuner bricked ECU on my Ferrari 488 and refused to pay for the damage. I ended up shelling out close to 10K to have the car fixed.

It absolutely is, but a proper tuned car is just so much better than stock. I've tuned every car I've had it makes a world difference- but shame on that man there are some snakes in this business
