I have to drive it for about 2000 km (cca 1300 miles). 2 days trip. I have done in one day 1300 km and im fully satisfied with them. No pain, no Any problem with comfort for such a long ride. As a daily i found my way how to go in and out of the car without any problems. Im using my car as a daily in small city where is everthing close to me. If you have the m4 maybe a problem will be if you havent enought space to open the door (that i think with the m3 is easyer beacuse the door is smaller). In my opinion go for the bucket seats!! I red a lot of articles here, and i have no regrats about my order. I hope that i help. |

2024 M4 Carbon Racing Bucket replacements
I have a 2024 M4 Competition with the Carbon Racing seats (silverstone / black merino leather). The seats look great and they are very supportive. They are a little difficult to get in and out of, and not super comfortable for my shoulders on longer trips . I am considering swapping them out. Does anyone have any recommendations as to replacements?

The carbon buckets are definitely the better seat for zipping around town and feel better when maneuvering. The sport seats are more comfortable, and with added ventilation, make a nice difference when it's hot out. Personally, I would go with sports seats if your car is your daily commuter and you drive more than an hour a day, and carbon buckets if not.

Im on my second G80 and time I opted for the standard sport seats.
The buckets add so much drama in the cabin. I actually miss that factor as the sports seats somehow make everything feel 'normal' and a little less special. However, getting in and out is sooo much easier and I dont miss that slightly anxious feeling i got from the wear on the side thigh bolster when getting in and out. One other thing. I was surprised at how much less room there is in the rear due to the bulkier sports seats. The buckets are so slender and free up noticable leg room. Overall I like them both but as a late 40 something the sports seats are just. A younger me would have the buckets. As daily, the sport seats are best. Imo. |

I have the carbon buckets and daily drive. Coming from sport seats in my x3m comp. I think the carbon seats are much more comfortable. Feels like a glove holding you. Little difficult at first to get in and out of, but once you figure out your push off points its not bad at all. if you have back or knee problems it likely wouldnt be the best choice for you.
