M3 CS VS M5 CS... dilemma
Here in USA an M3 CS In white frozen with CCB gets really close to the price of an M5 CS. I’m curious to see if I’m the only one here to believe it’s going to be hard to say which is better and why.

I think it depends on the buyers aim. The G80 CS is a lot more edgy (love it or hate it) and you can’t deny that the looks are much more pronounced than that of the M5 CS.
I’m sure there are a lot more livable details in the M5 such as cup holders and what not, but it is a larger vehicle. I would also think that it’d be hard to find an M5 CS without an ADM or it being near fully optioned. With that said, can you really find a M5 CS at the same price point as a M3 CS? |

A couple of reasons:
1) the M3 has new car comes with 3yy warranty. 2) as new model I’m expecting at the very beginning will be more desirable keeping the value higher at the very beginning. I’m a poor driver so the performance is not really a variable |

$134k for an M3 is nuts. And you are considering value? Last edited by BryanCO; 04-16-2023 at 07:37 PM.. |

The M2 CS is over $100k. I’m under the impression the M5 cs has been underpriced compare to other Countries, and now it’s loosing value. Which I don’t understand why since it’s one of the best sedan, if it’s not the best one. |

My personal favorite is the RS6 Avant. But I’ll wait and get a used one when they start depreciating (understanding that it’s possible that won’t happen). Not sure it matter watch something costs in another country. |

M5 CS is renowned worldwide as one of the best driving sedans ever made and one of the best M cars ever. It’s design is timeless and it’s performance is insane while also being a super comfy daily. For the same price with some low mileage on the M5CS it should be a pretty easy decision. They will be much harder to get in the future. With that being said I think the M3CS is going to be incredible as well. If it was me I would get the M5CS and wait on reviews and some to go on the market afterwards and if you really want to switch then you probably won’t lose much at all by doing so but I would go on to guess that if I got the 3 I would wish I had gotten the 5 but not vice versa.

There still is at least a $30k diff between the M3 and M5 CS'! Keep the M3 CS! I plan to add mine to the garage alongside my 2020 M5 comp. Near best of all worlds!
