Yes. I have lasers and those works if you buy from icedriver and you pick correct model.

Looks great to. Advantage of IceDriver offering with radiator already attached is that you do not have to play with heat gun, pcba removal etc. You can just pull out OEM part (Pcba with radiator/heatsink) and replace with your new Yellow DRLs setup with its own radiator/heatsink. Advantage is that you have full OEM part for yourself for exchnage if needed.

My opinion is that some Yellow drls can fail due to overheating of electronic during your DIY process, over the time when not attached well to heatsink due to DIY and final because of the difficult access to one of the screws sealing the enclosure to carbody to protect the pcba from humidity, water and dust.

Good luck with wither way you go. 90% of its made in China is from one or teo factories.

Anyone take the opportunity to defeat the amber side marker LED while in there? Should be easy to cut the trace. While I haven't studied the G8x boards, the X5M (GO5/F95) have DRL, turn indicator, and side marker LEDs on the same board and assume G8x is similar.

Edit: Just occurred to me this may throw a code and require a more eloquent solution. Anybody up to test?

I think there are some succesfully removing it by coding it out. But when I looked into it few months ago it was not very clear and quite convoluded.

As someone else mentioned, it's probably easier to just have it coded out. I had mine coded out when they did my euro auto-high beams.

you guys are buying the wrong Yellow DRL I did a comparison on the brightest and found ice driver single drl in my number 3 spot why ?? LED is smaller that they use compared to OEM then you have a brand that is the closest to OEM and brighter,, cost effective , and works no issues .....
