Are there install instructions or better yet a step-by-step video out there?

You can find videos easly but you will find the modules very easly by yourself. First two just after opening the hood. Couple of minutes and those two will be done. Later its more fun as you need to take off the wheels and remove (dang forgot how its called) this black plastic around the wheel to get the access to next two moduls. All this is very very easy untill you need to remove one screw for second moduls…. Omg. This step requires small hands and …. time…

Here are few pictures… with last one showing this difficult mount.

Do you have to take off the wheels? Saw this video, and it doesn't look like he took off the wheels.

Yes, you can try that without taking the wheel of. I have HAS and I do not think my wheel went so low and when I took the car up the space I had was nothing close to what i see on the video. Second, also i did it at the garage with regular jack on one side and I had wheels straight.

Your call, but taking the wheel was easy fast and access to whole screws way way better.

I will check it but this is the place just behind the fens to help with breaks cooling. It was wet day but will check just to be sure. So far its weeks and ECU did not raise alarm about it.

Thanks for pointing it out…. May have assumed wrong.

What's rubbish about the Chinese ones? How would your product be superior? Seriously asking since you're claiming it is.

Don't think any of the Chinese ones fully duplicate the color/brightness if you have a csl and the Chinese ones side by side, it's close but not exact. If he has access to the oem leds then it should look the same.

The Ali Express specials: The products are using a really cheap ally clad PCB, they will delaminate at some point in the near future! poor quality connectors and quite frankly abismal LEDs.

We have spent time making sure we match OEM quality, same make SMD LEDs and Connectors as per the BMW OEM unit.

We design and manufacture 1000’s of LED lights products per year. I’m not point of sale just design and maunfacure they will be on sale in the U.K. next month.

They are on soak test at the moment.

Also they will be available in a full range of colours.

Appreciate the write up and respect the work youre putting in. I was genuinely curious as to the difference. Toss a link when they're available.

I don't get it. Doesn't the mod only require a new PCB? You're keeping the OEM LEDs.

Would love to see this higher quality product!! I have Aliexpress boards I bought. I agree built is very low quality. I did not install them. I want higher quality stuff.

Multiple LEDs I haven’t got the circuit diagram to hand but the G80 is 2 PCB’s per side (4 Total) one on top one on the underside. I know one of the boards has 9 LEDs per. I can’t remember 100% we have been working on something for the Turkish government for the last week so my brain 🤪

Hopefully my M3 will be here in 4 weeks so we can start trying lots of different colours..

I really like such a business initiatives. The only challenge which such a EU or USA business needs to overcome …. is price.

I will admit I have one from China because I decided to check it when the costs were below 100$ and from pictures all looked good. Gave it a shoot and was surprised.
I wish this business all best but reality often is brutal… some of us despite of spending ~100k on a car, are not always willing to pay premium for a quality product.

Nevetheless looking forward to see what you guys will have in your full offering :-)

Thing is so many of these parts are made in china anyways, or their components are. LEDs last a long time, so paying 2-3x for a product someone is making themselves is not always desirable. Other than marketing and trying to convince everyone that your additional cost is worth it.

I expect my M4 comp to be next to an M4 CSL zero times ever for side by side comparison.
