Man I would have taken that with no issue. Those parking sensors seem pretty straight with their o-rings.
Cutting the other vent down with a dremel would have been easy.
Thanks so much for the pictures.

I love the Vorsteiner grill as well but can't bring myself to cut the bumper foam.
Why didn't Vorsteiner make it so that it would be plug and play?

Great question and the piece cut is only 120 bucks so that convinced me to go for it.

I know but I just don't get why Vorsteiner wouldn't account for that when making their grill.

Can you two elaborate on this with more details? I’ve been eyeing the Vorsteiner grille.

You don’t have to cut the bumper foam now?

Ypu still have to cut the bu.per if it abs plastic. For the carbon fiber one, you don't need to. Some have actually just removed the middle piece gut I wouldn't do it.

So the CF version is truly plug n play?

Any other hassles with the Vorsteiner grille? I really like that grille so trying to educate myself before I commit.

I haven't installed mine yet but I have the abs one with grill inserts to protect the radiator. I'm tired of getting crap out of bumper. There is a section on the forum where others have discussed the problems they had.

Wow I love the mesh. Looks so good.

I am in Canada and would prefer the mesh considering that I will be driving in snow and the car sits pretty low naturally.

Did you have to install the mesh yourself or did IND do it since you purchased them together?

To make things worse the parking sensor socket didn't even last a full week. I noticed today that the driver side sensor bottom was partially pushed inwards.

I pulled the bumper off less than an hour ago to investigate and found that the entire socket became unglued from the grill. The socket on the other side is beginning to let go as well.

Writing an email to PG now. Let's hope they make this right...

Kudos to you guys who dared to mess around with new or slightly new cars with aftermarket grilles.

I don’t have the balls to “fuck around and find out”.

I am so sorry to hear about this man. So glad that I decided to switch over to the CS grill from Kies. I simply a cannot deal with the uncertainty of "what id"

Thanks man...I was actually overall happy with it (despite the initial struggles) for the 4 days it was installed until this happened.

I'm tempted to just remove all of the glue and gorilla epoxy the PDC sockets in myself, but I don't want to make any changes until I give PG a chance to reply back with a proposal to make this right. We have rain in the forecast for the next several days so the bumper is sitting in my family room while I drive my Mazda CX-50
