Cutting the other vent down with a dremel would have been easy. Thanks so much for the pictures. |

Why didn't Vorsteiner make it so that it would be plug and play? |

Great question and the piece cut is only 120 bucks so that convinced me to go for it.

Ypu still have to cut the bu.per if it abs plastic. For the carbon fiber one, you don't need to. Some have actually just removed the middle piece gut I wouldn't do it.

Any other hassles with the Vorsteiner grille? I really like that grille so trying to educate myself before I commit. |

I am in Canada and would prefer the mesh considering that I will be driving in snow and the car sits pretty low naturally. |

Did you have to install the mesh yourself or did IND do it since you purchased them together?

I pulled the bumper off less than an hour ago to investigate and found that the entire socket became unglued from the grill. The socket on the other side is beginning to let go as well. Writing an email to PG now. Let's hope they make this right...

Kudos to you guys who dared to mess around with new or slightly new cars with aftermarket grilles.
I don’t have the balls to “fuck around and find out”. |

I'm tempted to just remove all of the glue and gorilla epoxy the PDC sockets in myself, but I don't want to make any changes until I give PG a chance to reply back with a proposal to make this right. We have rain in the forecast for the next several days so the bumper is sitting in my family room while I drive my Mazda CX-50
