Cant Decide Eventuri Carbon or IND Painted Engine Cover

Painted, but not in dravit gray. Do another color that will pop, like shocker yellow or something.

Paint matched parts = 5HP
Carbon parts = 10HP

Ok, I ordered the painted cover, and then slept on it. Woke up the next morning, feeling like I needed the carbon cover. I ordered both.

Thanks to mike@x-ph.com for dealing with me. There was originally a little misunderstanding, on my end, and Mike really came through with the customer service, with a reply much better than I could have asked for.

I really appreciate it. I can't say enough about the customer service. He and his team all kept in touch with me. I was getting their sales emails, like clockwork, but their emails written directly to me, were going into my junk folder. But it's all good, now.

I just got a UPS notification from IND, for the drop ship. Thank you IND-Distribution for getting that out, quickly.

Thank you. I can't wait to see which one I'm going to stick with. It would be nice to get a side by side comparison picture. I haven't seen that, yet.

Both are great choices - Eventuri quality is amazing and it covers up the manifold that most don't like to see.

I personally went with painted as I like the weird shape of the stock cover, I don't mind seeing the intake and I plan on adding a Karbonius strut bar as soon as IND gets them in stock.

Love the color. I don't know why at first glance I didn't notice the size difference until I'd posted the pictures, together, in the same post.

I'd heard it was bigger, but I never examined the covers, together, until I put the pics, side by side. It's just one of those things, in plain sight and you don't notice it. I definitely notice it, now. Kind of made me go ahead and order both covers. I'll run one for a while and then run the other one, and decide. Or, maybe I'll just keep both. I get too lazy to post stuff and ship it out, anyway, so, I'll probably end up keeping them both. Unless someone locally buys one of them from me.

Eventuri because it is just pure sex. I want one badly, but having a hard time investing money into something I'll rarely see (I'm not a hood-pop @ cars and coffee type guy).

I know you ordered both I love my painted cover. There is too much carbon on the car and i think a little color in the engine bay is a nice change and since it's color matched it makes it look like the owner put a little effort into it.

Since I got an email; this morning that the IND Painted Engine cover is a 4-8 week wait, this will hold me over. I was thinking the package that shipped from IND was the painted cover. It was actually the Carbon cover. The painted one is a month or two out.

Yep. Mine took 6 weeks. I ordered it before I got the car. Worth the wait.

@Imran@Evolve we need to get you some DownStar bolt kit. They come in a ton of colors. These aren't on the site. You have to email and have them invoice you. But the rest of the colors are there.

Sorry about my strutbar. I had a CSL, but we know that story.

Carbon Eventuri engine cover is on the delivery truck.

Fast forward a few days. I’m still waiting on my painted cover. I’d like to get another M badge for these covers, as I know bending the tabs back a forth, can break them off. Does anyone have the part number?

The emblem only comes on the OEM engine cover.
