I'm surprised the top even opens at all - maybe it has anti pinch built in, and allows the top to retract even if that piece isn't moved back fully.

Agreed. So yeah I opened and closed it like 5 times in a row. Doesn't seem to hit it too hard and I don't feel any scratches or scrapes on the bumper or the body part that hits the spoiler. Also the spoiler still feels very firm and no extra wiggle from opening the top. But still, I contacted Euroklasse to return it. This is making me want to sell the G83 to a G82 now... Ugh..

“This will 100% for the M4 convertible (G83)? There is minimum clearance. If it doesn’t clear the top is it returnable?”

This was the reply from R44:

Based on that reply it sounds like they have been selling…based on feedback on this site it makes me wonder if they are being honest…

They're not. I ordered mine in mid June. Still waiting...

I went ahead and asked
“Have you sold any for the G83? What is the current lead time? “

The response was:
“We have sold very many, as well as having some on back order with our shipment coming in the next few weeks.”

So hopefully yours is one on back order.

Has anyone ordered from R44 before? Are they reputable?

I'll believe it when I see it - there is literally not a single picture on the internet of an actual car with this actual spoiler. I highly suspect not a single one has been delivered yet.

R44 is reputable - they generally make great products. They tend to be ridiculously optimistic with their delivery dates. I have an R44 exhaust, and it took forever to get.

Mine came in, Looked tiny, but when test fit looked awesome and as aggressive as the G83 will allow...literally millimeters of clearance so it's perfect. Installed in 10 mins with my son and some painters tape...comes w/the 3M adhesive tape. Looks very nice. Will Post pics when I can.

Amazing. Fantastic, and I take back my previous comment. Looks like I'm on the backorder list (would have been nice if they told me that....)

The wait is killing me. Ordered my r44v1 back in early May, and returned it as soon as I got it. Ordered v2 2 months ago. Looking like this is going to go out until September.

Nice does yours fit perfectly?.. I tried to center it as good as I could but feel like the left is bit out, I looked at it and said f it.. looks good lol

And I might be biased but I feel like the vert has the best profile in the g8x imo…
