For thr most part. I would say yhat it's a tad bit lighter than the rest of the ambient lighting, but not enough to notice without actually paying some attention to it

sorry what I meant is: since the footwell can be set at a different color than the upper strip and this is connected around the footwell area, does it get set at the color of the cockpit strip or the footwell color?

Thanks!

Good question. My guess is it depends where the lights are connected. I sold my kit so I cannot say for sure it will change to the same color as the foot well light.

It's the color of the ambient strip, not the footwell.

Just installed mine - it's pretty straightforward. One of my led modules was broken, however :/ . That'll be another month to get a replacement set. Wiring to the passenger foot well matches the LEDs to the dash.

For you guys that installed these - where did you stick the led modules? On the driver's side, I had a really hard time finding a good spot (at least without unscrewing the shift console, and I didn't want to take that apart.)

For those of you who need help, I uploaded a video for reference. Never fully edited it, but hopefully it still helps some of you out.

Can you get these to use with the leather knee pads? I like my leather knee pads. I dont want carbon or plastic ones.

They're not at all compatible with stock - you can't swap the leather pads on.

I did add Alcantara covers to mine, and it looks great, but AFAIK nobody makes aftermarket leather covers, just the fuzzy stuff

Did you have it covered in Alcantara yourself? Or was it another solution you used?

Got mine today. Nice little touch. Color is slightly off from other ambient but have to look pretty hard.

I'd really like this but they say it's for LHD vehicles only, despite the trim pieces looking the same to me? Has anyone with a RHD tried installing these?

It will not work as the passenger side piece is shorter…trust me.

I've had them for a little while now. Install was easy, and they look pretty good. Colors seem maybe a little more washed out compared to the factory lights, but otherwise fit right in.

My replacement ones came in, look almost perfect.
There's a slightly larger gap on the left side now, i tried to reposition the trim but didn't do anything. Not really that visible from the drivers side but one thing i noticed.

Got them and returning them. The color is slightly faded as others have mentioned. But my biggest issue was the harness connection point to the actual optical/light strip isn’t secure and needs to be taped w/ electrical tape… not ideal
Another issue I had was the pieces were super flimsy compared to the factory ones.
Lastly, the drivers side connection point wouldn’t fit under the factory trim pieces… I shifted it into multiple places but when you try pushing the factory console back together it crushes the optical light. I’d they were as bright as OEM I’d have figured out a way but they weren’t as good quality
