Color changing DRL for Non Laser-light

Just curious, anyone have color changing or even like the M5 CS DRL. I have don't have the laser lights. Anyone do it yet or know if there's a bulb you can just switch out?

I'm pretty sure its a LED which cannot be swapped out.

Working on, now. Not me, so, I have no more info. But keep your eyes peeled. People are working on it. LED boards changed, no modification or tinting done to the actual headlight. Reversible.

That dude on FB really needs to post more info about the method they are using. He's very nonspecific about it and I'm having doubts about it actually being figured out.

That's essentially what I'm afraid of. Especially with the way the guy on FB was wording his replies of how it was being accomplished.

They guy lives semi local to me. And he posted a video, pulling the LED module in and out of the headlight, or I wouldn't have posted a reply.

Replacing the LED boards, I'm willing to do.
Worst case, I can always put the original part back in.

What I'd stay away is taking apart the whole headlight assembly.
I've done it a few times back in the day and never again.

Yeah, 100%. I wouldn't have even shed any light on the subject, if he was just laying some film over the actual DRL piping. We've seen that. This appears to be very different. Looking at the pictures, and videos, it doesn't look difficult, however, from what he's saying, the colored LED, needs to be changed on the board, and he's saying the boards aren't cheap to purchase. Also, apparently it's an amber switchback, for the turn signals, just like OEM.

Yeah I believe I saw those boards on Aliexpress for about 90 bucks/ea.
I'm not modifying the stock boards, I'd rather spend the extra $$ to have a full replacement board so I can convert it back to OEM when necessary.

Correct, he's done the research, and sourced the parts, and is offering a solution. I don't want to mess with even changing the LEDs on the boards. When he offers something, I'll just get it from him, especially since I see him at all of the local events. He and his car are both well known in the area.
