Best place to service M3 north london...
Hi,
My M3CX might be with me end of July and I'm considering the new 5yr service inclusive pack at £1950! This seems to exclude consumables such as pads and discs. Is it worth it? Also what dealerships around London (ideally Herts ) take in enough M cars to be competent at servicing them? |

Hmmm - depends on your mileage - if you cover 19,000 miles or less in two years, you will get two services in the 5 year period. That's a £1,000 a pop - so unlikely to work out. Does this include the RIS too? That's around £450 now... Go for the monthly payment scheme...

Might even out then! Here's some indicative pricing:
Minor - £380 Major - £829 RIS - £436 Brake Fluid - £210 So in 5 years you have RIS (year 1), minor (year 2), brake fluid (year 3), major (year 4)., possibly another brake fluid (year 5), but they don't tend to cover second and subsequent ones on service packs... So that's around £1,900. Monthly option is better I found. Pay for 3 years (£35 a month) and get 4 years' servicing and MoTs, and 2 map updates in year 4. £35 does not include covering RIS, as I had the dealer cover this as part of the deal. £45 a month with RIS. Service packs are a bit crap now. Last edited by G82Dude; 06-09-2022 at 04:35 AM.. |
