Any reason against keeping the brake cooling ducts out?
You know those brake duct cover things in the fender liner? I took them out bc I thought my tires were rubbing on them.
Anyway, i cant think of a reason to put them back in. Dust and dirt can still get through the fins, i dont have carbon front ducts so the stock mesh will block large rocks and what not. Am i missing something obvious on why i shouldnt keep these out for daily driving? |

Do a few 60-5mph hard stops and see if the noise goes away.

How many miles do you have on the pads? I have yellows on my other car and honestly there was no noise from them.

Back off topic - I drove about 1,000 miles or so with EBC Yellow and the fronts never quieted down. Let us know how yours do.
The EBC Yellow rears never made a peep from day 1. I put the OEM fronts back on. I have a G83 and when I have the top down, the brake noise is all I hear. So damn loud. There is a horse crossing in a neighboring town and one time when I had to stop for a crossing rider, I scared the shit out of the horse (got a nasty look from the rider too).
