Actually, I've seen more i4s than I've seen G80/G82. Makes sense from a company profit perspective.

There can be more i4s but a questions is about type of the clients. Its way more likely M cars owner will be modifying the cars then i4 owners. I more think that 99% of electric car owners will do nothing to it. But I may be wrong

100% agreed. That was most of my reasoning behind the post.
1. It's being released waaaay before the G8X in the life cycle.
2. Why would anyone that owns an i4 even want to purchase DDC coilovers? Were talking like 1 in every 1,000 or worse.
3. Out of the people that would be interested in it, most would probably be plenty happy with just lowering springs, and not a set of $6,000 coilovers.
