Air Suspension

I'm thinking about possibly doing Air Suspension but I don't hear much about them, their must be a reason or reason's. I found a few for G82 $3K-$4K without labor! Let me hear the negatives besides cost?

Arguably reduced handling feel and overall potential, added weight, complexity of the system, more fail points that could leave you stranded.

I've run airlift on my daily driver for nearly 100k miles over the last 5 years and it's been good as gold.

If you're not regularly exploiting the handling potential of the chassis, and want the air ride look/flexibility then it's not a bad solution. Comfortable for a daily driver with the right kit too.

I'd not cheap out on the kit, the suspension itself, compressor, tank and management all play an important part. Also need to look at bag type and what pressures they are at for a sensible ride height. Higher the pressure in the bag the higher your spring rate is and the worse the ride quality will be.

Thanks I guess I'm going a different route.
