I coded it out on my '21 and felt no difference.
I did. Felt like the "hummng part and gurgling had become less apparent" definitely like it more.
And what relates to the speakers they are like humans - the less work the do at the same moment the better they do what they do
So music + active sound must be worse than without, since the same speakers are involved.

BTW B&O coding definitely makes the sound much better!!!

I love that you can code in the mirror to still go up in automatic when the door is open, it has always been such an inconvenience.
Can you elaborate on the B&O coding and the mirror comment?
BO exactly that thread.

I mixed up "window" and "mirror", second language, my bad.

Window - when you leave the car and the door is still shut you hit the button and window starts moving. Once you open the door it stops and one has to manually HOLD the button so that the window closes completely. You can change that to ALWAYS AUTOMATIC for window closing.

One other small thing is Honk when you close a running car… was dreaming to get rid of that too. Success.

It is about small things in life

Haha all good. Thanks for clarifying and yes agreed. Those mods are amazing and a must have.

For anyone who had issues coding out ASD on a 2022 car, they just updated the app and I was able to code it out.

I’ll take a drive in the morning to see if I like the change.

Seems like coding it out has made zero difference, only went for a short drive yesterday but really could not tell the difference.

Is there any way to get the turn signals displayed on the HUD when active?

What’s going on with not able to change the lights when driving?!
Can’t change from Auto to side lights or off, have to stop the car first, WTF!
Can this be changed with coding?

I got an email back from Bimmercode. They confirmed that coding out ASD on cars with the latest software from BMW is not working.

They’re working on it with no ETA.

Not that I know of unless it's in the advance menu somewhere. This would be good to have.

So costs $100 but I purchases the OBDLink MX+ Bluetooth Scanner and works great with Bimmercode. So I successfully was able to turn my seatbelt alert off but notice with seatbest unbuckled some of the driver assistance wont work (specifically lane keep and traffic assist). Is anyone aware if there is a way to code in use of those when seatbelt isn't buckled. I am sure I know folks answers (e.g. wear a seatbelt) but figured I'd ask.

Is anyone willing to make a post with all the coding options, steps on how to do them and new discoveries? Would make it easier on people who are new to coding.

Trust me guys. It's really easy. I used to code Audis and by comparison this is literally step by step. Tons of YT vids check it out

Yes it is easy, I've done my g20 a few times but I think it will be a good idea to have a place to reference. Every time an update comes up you will have to code everything back.

Has anyone been able to increase their 3-blink turn signal to a higher number? I would love 4 or 5 instead. But I don't see any way to do it for the G8X in Bimmercode, at least not yet, not even in Expert mode.

I have the option for 1 or 3, that's it, through I Drive...my 2021 G82.

2021 M4.

I'm admittedly slightly fuzzy how I ended up at 5. I thought I set Bimmercode to 5 although some time later when I went back to look at it the option for 5 wasn't there. I have the in car setting set to 3 as it's the highest I can go, but for some reason my car still does 5. Not super helpful I know...

Uh, no, not helpful at all ...you just magically ended up at 5, or maybe you actually set it for 5, and then the option disappeared?

Oh well. Just know that I'm envious.
