are there any intake manifold comparisons?
I see a sale on the Mishimoto version and Project Gamma has a pretty cheap pre-order… Wagner has theirs too but couldn’t find any data on any of them other than CSF and I know RK is proven but almost two or three times the price.
Are there any comparisons out there? Anyone using something other than CSF or RK?

I doubt you'll find any comparisons between intake manifold, very costly for someone to compare a handful of them. Mishimoto definitely provides a lot of data/info on their manifold and the price is right in the middle between gamma and csf. Will you be swapping to a larger turbo or sticking with the stock ones? Unless you're going with a big turbo i'd stay with the stock manifold, stock turbo/manifold is good for mid 9's.

So far the most proven seems to be RK and CSF based on the high hp cars equipped with them. I have an RK I am putting on my car. Like Forcefed said, not much data on others yet.

They are all probably pretty close. I went with CSF and have no issues.

RK is local so I’ll be going with them. Was just more curious about data. I can take some after logs to see how IATs are effected. I have like 25 logs with stock manifold

How much is a rail kit like $1000? I bet the plastic manifold performs better anyway. Now if the plastic ones were blowing up that might be an argument but just not seeing it on these. The dynos I think are gamed to make it appear they add more power when they really do little. Just my opinion.

They definitely do help with stock turbos. mikewhog82 ran a 9.4 1/4 and his car kept cool and help all the boost that was thrown at it. Keeping IAT's down is big. Some stock manifolds have been known to separate where the gasket meets the cooler under high boost.
Keep in mind the stock manifold is fine to use but if you plan on going upgraded turbos at some point and have an opportunity to do a manifold now, might as well. |

I only have 2 choices. Go mishimoto or Wagner? Mishi being $600 cheaper. Wagner has those 12 c clamps having me worried about leakage.
Rk and csf are just out of my budget. My turbos are mosselman turbos so they are oem+ |

Mishi is 33% core Wagner with its potential leakaged design - but it’s 50% core is what it’s good about it. Rk using Wagner cores vtt also using Wagner cores. So it seems Wagner the way to go or just get mishi on sale and be done with it as Wagner stocks mostly oos |
