I have a couple of friends that work in the industry and they both said they have made more money than ever in the business. The consumer is being gouged by the industry.

This is a crazy good rate. I went with BMW Financial, but I am looking to make a switch as I got into the 4's right now with %. Going down to 1.99 would save me over $100 monthly, which is worth it.

I am in FL, I don't think I would have issues applying to that bank and paying online I suppose.

Banks says no matter the loan term, up to 7 years, 1.99%

Dont know the validity though.

For those of you who locked in with BMWFS at lower MY'22 rates being pushed out to MY'23 - what have you heard from your dealerships/CAs?

I've been told it will be possible to get BMWFS will honor the original rate lock and terms by requesting an exception/extension regardless of MY.

I have also been told that a MY'22 lock exception/extension will no longer hold for a MY'23 and therefore will require a new lock with MY'23 programs. Thoughts?

Long Islanders - try Jovia. You must live or work in Nassau or Suffolk County or be sponsored by somebody who does. I have a car financed with them, they have been good.

Up to 60 @ 2.49%
72 @ 2.59%
84 @ 3.00%

I had locked .9% last November, just picked up the car last week. They didn't honor the .9 but gave me 1.99% instead of the current bmwfs rate of 3.9%

Are you guys foregoing the $500 bmw loyalty credit when financing through a 3rd party? MY CA said you only get the loyalty credit if you finance via BMW.

Yep. But bmw military program required non bmw financing and gave $2000 off. Ended up with USAA at 4.24% for 84mo

I plan on using the military discount as well, but have never heard it required non-bmw financing

BMW is no longer posting finance rates in their webpage. Not sure if they dont want customers to know the base rate.

No, just refi after taking delivery and originally financing with BMWFS. A little bit of a hassle, but for $500, why not....

Georgia's Own CU just locked 2.51% for 60 mon. No requirements to join the CU except to have a bank account with at least $5 in it. They also hold what's left of my mortgage at nearly the same rate.

I'll most likely finance with BMWFS and then refinance with a local credit union at some point.

Loans on a depreciating asset is almost never a good idea. Consumers are over extending themselves allowing these opportunities.
