Oh i saw that one at the dealership. Loved the bucket seats. Kinda wished they were in the one i bought as i do plan on tracking the car but the tartufo interior is just so good.

Oh i didnt realize haha. I mean i'm not much of a blue color fan and so the color really wasnt enough to sway me away. The green is still blowing my mind. Was almost late to work today cuz i just wanted to stare at the car haha.

WOW poor guy, i cant even imagine how i would feel doing ED and the seeing my car in completely the wrong color. That being said, my situation with my GT4 is similar only in the sense that it was a total lemon and because of when it was delivered to me, Porsche had stopped production on the standard GT4 before i started the buyback process and so i was unable to spec another GT4 for myself.

But thats why i'm here and honestly...no regrets. This Boston Green color is just next level and if i have the option of ever doing a PTS GT3 in the future....i might have them try to do something close to this.

What a beautiful and unique color! As you said, the amount of turquoise in their makes it even more different. I’ve always loved BMW greens over browns.

Yes, it was a complete disaster and though BMW eventually fixed it, it ended up being a PR nightmare.

Haha most likley. I never saw it pop up on the dealers website that i turned it into so i'm unsure what Porsche did with it, but i'm sure they will try to sell it.

I sold my M3CX last week and am getting ready to make 25-30% off offers on 2023 Alfa Giulia Quadrifoglios. There are quite a few left around here and dealers are advertising at 15-18% off as is. Figure there’s more there!

Imagine doing ED, getting to Germany, and getting an email the night before saying your car had an issue and was shipped back to the factory for repairs. Sorry, you're not getting your car tomorrow and we're not sure when it will be fixed.

Now imagine that car is a GT3 RS.

depends on your are and how sensitive cops are.

Where i live, just having the light be orange is enough for most cops. Even if you smoke it out or change the housing so that it's clear or whatever, as long as the light is orange, you're all good.

However a lot of cops also just dont care about your reflectors and it's just more something to just tag on if they are pulling you over for something else. I've seen this to be a fix-it ticket based on my friends who have been dinged for it so it's not even really that bad. For me however i choose to just vinyl wrap mine. Its cheaper than installing a full on part and if a cop tries to get me for it, i just pretend like i forgot to take it off after detailing and remove it right then and there.

BMW killed it with this green! I think BMW has the best shades of green. Never have I ever liked a green car until I saw a green M3 and M4 in person, pictures have zero value no justice!

Talking to the sales person, she also told me that since i specced the carbon buckets on the M2, that the build could take as long as 6 months for it to get here. I didnt want to wait that long. The M2 is not a dream car of mine at all, just a transitional car till the next one, so for me not worth the wait.

So then we sat in an M2 with standard seats to see if i would like them enough. And wow the price difference was immediately apparent. The M2 was significantly more uncomfortable. At that point i decided that the M4 was probably going to be the better car for me. We drove to another dealership that had some more selection as they didnt have much at the one we are at. As we were walking towards the cars, this one caught my eye. It was a green, but not Isle of Mann green, and in the overcast light it gaves vibes of a dark turquoise, almost british racing green. I peeked inside and it had a Cognac interior. My favorite car color combo. I checked to build sheet and it had all the options i wanted and none of the ones i didnt want. Talking to the sales rep, i told him he'd have a sale if he was willing to match or come close to a price quote i had gotten from another dealership a month ago. They had quoted me 12% under MSRP for any M4 on their lot.

While he couldnt get me 12%...he got me 11%. And so we had a deal. And after much waiting around (since this was such a spur of the moment purchase), i am now the proud owner of a M4 Competition xDrive in Boston Green Metallic. It might even be a 1 of 1 for the US. The drive home was amazing, and this thing has way more power than i think i'll ever need. I cant wait for breakin to get over with so i can take this thing to the track.
