How this will drive will be the key thing. F8x CSs didn’t get their due attention for better or worse.
Brilliant colour for this car. BMW wins hands down for their colour palette. Genius! |

M is a spectrum now. It does not represent pinnacle of BMW. The CS models are now the most appealing models to me. They are only ones that offer what all M card used to have - steering feel, great chassis and suspension tuning, etc. All largely done through software. In that sense, CS are the main models I'd consider. However, the pricing means they're no longer competitive. This approach works well as a business strategy and for mainstream buyers, but at the expense of true driving enthusiasts. |

Regarding this M3 CS, looks fine but ultimately comes down to how it drives, which can only be assessed by driving it. The CS magic is in the tuning, not mechanical differences. I'm optimistic based on recent CS models.

Personally, my issue is with the poor usability rather than aesthetic. Objectively, it massively increases the time required to perform basic functions while driving, regardless of whether you like it or not. |

At 1 per dealer these will be expensive. The F80 CS was overproduced so they sat on lots and then leased out cheap. That made it easy to get one new. Now 4 years later there is a wide mix of wrecked, used as a daily, track focused, modded, clean low mileage, and a few collector grade cars. Not sure how this will play out with about half as many G CS cars but guessing more split among track focused and weekend driver collectors.

This summer, I will be taking my son to a number of sports tournaments. One is local--45 minutes away. One is not terribly far into our neighboring state of Indiana--3.5-4 hours. The third is on the Deleware/New Jersey border--13-15 hours away Don't begrudge me my cupholders. . |

Remember all the fuzz here about the the M5 CS before release - too heavy, too expensive, not gonna drive better than the Comp, no Burmester only Harmon, few colors to choose from?
What happened? The car was overpraised by motor journalists and M CEO in an interview was clearly proud of it - as he should be. Yes, it was expensive but almost every option was included. And pricewise its holding up extremely well. I regret saying no to my dealer who was kind enough to reach out to me. Lets give the M3 CS a chance and hope its a proper Jr. M5 CS. And finally, regarding dilution of the M3/M4 with a few Limited production runs: Lets be thankful that we’re been giving these options. When Mercedes bring a Final Edition C63s, they only slab Final Edition emblems on it. That’s it! At least BMW has given thougts to was else to improve for better performance, looks and ride quality. And if thats not enough, M Performance Parts has you covered. So much want for this new M3 CS. Thanks, BMW. |

I don’t care how obnoxious a Signal Green CS would look in my work parking lot.. I want it.
I’m confident this is going to be an incredible trim on the G80. It’s going to be good. |

badged track/road weapon.. And Im calling it as the first 3er to break into the 10s in the 1/4 on street from factory.. This car may also be what the aftermarket drag racers needed to bring the car into basement 9s ok stock turbos and potentially mid 8s FBO.. Can't wait for this machine to be released. ✨✨ |
