I definitely experience the same thing, will look into if any driver assistance helps. I drive with the sport display mode 99% of the time so all driver assistance is off

Make sure “steering intervention” is off. That feature nearly killed a biker on my X3MC. Turned it off immediately and turned off in my G82 before leaving the dealers lot.

My Subaru has a button on the steering wheel for that feature. With the BMW you have to dig through the settings to get at it. I tried to use the voice commands to turn it off and haven't been successful so far. I wonder what other features (such as the auto lane change feature and the one that prevents you from changing into a lane if there is a vehicle in the blind spot) are disabled at the same time. |

It could be the steering intervention (turn that off first) but don't forget the M3/M4 has really wide tires all around so they will naturally follow the deviations in the road a bit more. Had this on a lot of cars myself and its nothing to worry about.

It may actually be following subtle grooves/ruts in the pavement. On some highways/secondary roads there are grooves made by heavier vehicles like tractor trailers, etc. The wide track and tires of the M's don't fit in the grooves well and will impact your ability to track straight.

I experience this with aggressive ride height and camber plates. If your car is new stock, then it's likely an alignment, but double check your tire pressures too.
If it's lowered, then invest in some SPL Bump Steer Adjustable Tie Rod Ends
