Alibaba Midpipe Groupbuy?
Hi,
I've been researching the possibility of getting a single midpipe via Alibaba. I've come across this supplier named Jagrow and based on the pictures and videos, their quality seems excellent and resembles name brands being sold in NA. Their exhausts are among the best reviewed on Alibaba. Here is the product link: https://www.alibaba.com/product-deta...42016186wlV094 Anyone has experience with them? I'm thinking about a group buy if anyone is interested (in the GTA area). There isn't much discount on the product itself but we'll save a bit on shipping. I've talked to the supplier and for 3 units, we can get to around $470 USD (roughly $640), shipping and customs (any border taxes) included. It will be sea freight and takes about 30 days to arrive. Please let me know if you are interested or have experience to share. Thanks! |

Not sure why you would try to save 2-300$ on such an important part of the car and get stucked with cheap quality and fitment. This is not JDM or american car..

This is the cheapest one in canada https://www.xplicitautoworks.com/pro...single-midpipe if you want to support a local business. Add $50 and you get a brace too. https://www.instagram.com/steves_performance_shop/ Steve can also get you a similar one and install it

The cheapest one I can find is from Xplicit as pointed out by forcefed, which is local to us. However, judging from the pictures, they look almost identical to the Alibaba one I'm linking. |

Shouldn't matter whether JDM, German or Domestic, a lot of these Alibaba parts are not very good quality. The only strategy these companies have to make them attract sales is making it super cheap. Just know there's zero R&D, no dynos, no support and parts will most likely not fit 100%.
Jagrow supplies a lot of "resellers" (we get bombarded by their spam emails weekly), so just go straight to the source if this is the route you want to go. Dig through their catalog and you'll start to see a lot of familiar looking parts being offered here. The same issues will carry over, no matter where the shipping label says its from. Best of luck.

Oh it's v-style grille though right? Not the actual Vorsteiner one? I guess I have something to hang my hat on since mine is actual Vorsteiner. lol. Don't think it matters ultimately as I'd much rather have saved the $, but it is what it is I guess. Haha. Can you link me with the mad spacers? Not sure what that is? I think I want to go with 12 mm all around for OEM wheels and OEM height as don't want to risk rubbing etc. |
