Prior to 07/2023 on iDrive 8, you'd have to wait about 2 seconds before pressing M1 or M2 if you have a TC change programmed to the button (what comes up making you "confirm" the change with a second press). As of 07/2023, you no longer have to wait and can just double-tap the button.

Also went from 03/2023.37 to 07/2023.53 last week. Was expecting my M1/M2 settings to be erased but they weren't.

I'm assuming once 03/2024 is "available", that 11/2023 will start rolling out?

That's weird. I'm on 03/2023 and its a pretty rapid double click for M2 (with MDM) but with ID7. I genuinely didn't know others experienced a delay.

Yep, it was never an issue on iD7, only iD8.

I can confirm that updating to 7/2023 did NOT turn ASD back on for me. Went in with BimmerCode and to my surprise ASD was still off.

Mine just updated to 07/2023.53 and can confirm no settings were erased or reset. Haven't noticed any real functional difference yet either.

I had my car in storage for a few months and it was ready for this when I got it out.

The dealer did my oil change service and swapped my tires for winter, but surprisingly they didn't update the software. I did this last night, so far so good.

I had the dealer update me to 11.2023. I lost all my coding. I think when it’s an OTA update it may not change your custom coding but when they dealer does it you lose coding. Going from 03.2023 to 07.2023 came through remotely and did not wipe my coding.

Same here, going from 03.2023 to 07.2023 didn't wipe my coding. I custom coded ASD, Brake Force Display, DRL and anti dazzle on my laserlights.
