M3 Xdrive competition
Executive Package
driver package
no carbon seats
dravit grey with full red interior
laser lights
Dravit grey could be the reason.
I have one customer who placed the order in January, got a production number in late February and was pushed back a few times as well. His car went in production a week ago.

Maybe, although I got a March allocation, specified Dravit, was scheduled for Week 21, and was built three weeks early. It may be because of the full leather, or a thousand other possible excuses...

Well, we may all need to stay patient for the recession. When will BMW end this current model M3?

National advertised 60mos was 1.99% (on TV and BMW USA website) but my dealer maximized it to 4.99% because they are greedy. Absurd right?

The MF's were maximum .00193 and minimum 0.00158. I believe these numbers are way higher today, sadly.

All the correct (and previous) MF info can be found below...max markup is 0.0004.

All headed MUCH higher.

When was it advertised nationally at 1.9% for M3/M4, January? It's been 3.49% since March.

Now I don't want all of you jumping at this special June only APR from my local dealer.

7.05%APR!!

My M4 goes in for 1200 mile checkup next week, but the marketing email came today to thank me for coming in for service, and as a reward they'd like to offer me the special loan rate. But hurry, won't last long.

I replied asking if it was a typo because BMW Financial is 3.49%, my local CC is 3.4 and Navy Federal is 2.49%.

If anyone is looking for an M4 allocation, I have one that could be built immediately. You can choose the specs, and also choose base, Comp, or comp Xdrive.

Well it definitely wasn't 1.99 in march, and they can't do that actually unless your credit was below 700, you went a term that doesn't have special rates, or they took you through a different bank.

Credit was 845. Car credit was 860. They own the car and they were selling M3s for 15-20k markup at that time and the Munich factory was closed during those weeks cause of the war. They were going to do anything for me not to take a car home $1,900 below MSRP.

When it's a seller's market, they can really hurt you when the car is ready and its time to buy or lease the car. I got sub MSRP pricing on their rate term or markup and my financing. You can argue its not fair, etc but have fun with lawyers and a shady dealership for a car. It'll get you nowhere but less money in your wallet. They also received low marks on their surveys as a result and I stated all aspects of the transaction, order, treatment, etc.

When I ordered the car in December, they were doing 0.9% on 36-60 mos. so I choose to gain the benefit of below MSRP pricing at the mercy of the changing rate. It is my understanding that every dealer or region has a minimum and maximum they can charge subject to their approvals and BMW FS's criteria.

I'm really not sure what you are trying to say in half of that. BMW has 6 tiers, and whichever one you fall in based on your credit score, there is an appropriate rate given. Sales support through BMW can only be marked up a maximum of 1 point or financial will kick the contract back. So if you received a rate of 4.99, the lowest the rate could have been would be 1 point lower, at 3.99.

Hey guys - I need a bit of help. I got a call from my dealer as I had been looking for an M car. He has a 2022 M4 comp that the buyer backed out. MSRP is around 98K. He offered a lease at 10k miles, $2k down, and $1600 a month. That seems high, but I have never leased a car before so I don't have much of a comparison.

What, realistically, should I push back on price wise?

Ask for a breakdown. What's the selling price? Money Factor? etc.

And then rip it up and finance it instead. Leasing rates are atrocious right now.

You can hardly find any discounts off MSRP in the current market.

Ask the dealer for residual, money factor and pricing breakdown so that you can plug these numbers in lease calculator and verify the deal yourself. You can compare their numbers with the base rates to understand dealer markup as well.

Leases are horrific now but go to leasehkr and learn how to populate and use the calculator before doing anything.

Leases are horrible right now, either finance or as about Select. $1600 is too much to waste on a lease.

Is that selling price of $96k inclusive of the $2k downpayment? So in reality selling price is $98k?
