Looking at ordering a G82 M4 Comp xDrive, I'm fine with waiting till next summer if I have to, but do have a build code exactly how I want it and with Tanzanite I'm aware it can cause delays. I just want to get it before they switch over to the new ID8 screens. I like the current infotainment much better.

edit: things I'm thinking of - current BMW owner, military discount, holiday sales, etc
Awesome, looks like there's a $2,000 incentive for military / veterans / retirees currently. Can't combine it with the $750 for current BMW owner though.

I heard you can qualify for it by simply having a NFCU account... need to verify for myself though.

Yes, but the Navy Federal Truecar deal currently only applies to 21 and 22 models.

I haven't found any info on if or when it will be offered for 23s.

At least one dealer has it listed as applying to '23 models and the $2k is for the M4 comp xdrive specifically, which is what I want to order.

Just curious, what do you guys pay for an fully loaded G80 M3 Comp. xDrive in the USA ?

I'm from Germany and ordered a brand new m3. It has all options in it except the ceramic-breaks and then you have a final price of 120k Euros.
With some dealer-discount you maybe get below 110k.

Here is the MY23 US order guide with options and pricing - https://g80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1926770

With several regular and individual options, MSRP can shoot up. Individual paint is priced at $3750 with 50th anniversary discount (original price is $4500). Its almost impossible to get any discounts off MSRP from the dealer.

Anyone have an idea of how long the wait is for ordering and receiving an M3? Haven’t pulled the trigger yet still car shopping. But thinking of ordering a 6-speed manual early next year.

Depends on your location, if you want to pay MSRP or are willing to pay a markup, etc…

M3s are harder to get than M4s right now. So there's that too.

In my area (SoCal), if you want to pay MSRP and order a car, the wait time from placing an order to receiving an allocation and then receiving the car can be up to 18 months +

If your willing to buy with an ADM and don't care about a specific build, you might get lucky by searching around for a while.

Fully-loaded MY23 minus:

Carbon Brakes
Carbon Seats
Moonroof

Came out to around $97k + tax. (Which is around 9.5% in my state)

Most MSRP dealers have a long waitlist and people are waiting for several months just to get an allocation. Once you get an allocation, it can take anywhere between 4 to 8 months to take delivery. There is plenty of information in purchasing section of the forum.

It's amazing to see how things have changed for the M3 in just 1.5 years. I ordered my G80 Comp in Dec-20, received it on March-21, and paid $84k delivered; Color: Brooklyn gray, interior orange carbon buckets, carbon fiber trim, Laser lights (I didn't order them but came with it), M Drive professional, and shadow trim lights.

It's true but depending on your situation it may not be that bad. I got my wife's 2020 X3M when Covid first hit. There were 25+ available within 50 miles of me. They were giving them away. Got my M3 last August for MSRP but made $7,000 (forget exactly now) on my Alfa early lease turn in so felt it was a really good deal overall. Just ordered a 2023 X3M for my wife last week, Sept build, paid MSRP but got $6,000 equity out of her lease and her car has a car fax report or two.

Crazy times

I placed my order today. Bottom line they said 8-10 months when trying to get me to pay ADM to get it sooner, once order went in at MSRP they said it would be "much sooner".

The detail:

At first they wanted me to pay 5k over sticker for an allocation that locks this week (apparently someone backed out). When that was on the table the MSRP order was "8-10 months"

Once I told them I was happy to wait and pay MSRP (I want to get the car in the spring anyways) they took my deposit and "obviously supply chain is tough right now but I was being really conservative before, I think it'll be faster. We try to underpromise/over deliver", etc.

To be clear, super happy with the experience, all very nice, professional, easy, etc. My point is just I think I will have this car within 6 months. Note that I didn't try especially hard by calling a ton of dealers either. This is just the local dealer and I don't have a prior relationship with them.

My friend in NJ has allocations over MSRP and starting production right away.
The few guys i know have gotten their cars from him in 3-5 months (sometimes they are stuck at port but not building)

The difference is a lot of dealers have 0 allocations

BMW of Wichita has a black on black M4 Comp x-drive available but it has no options. Got a call offering it up earlier and passed bc I need a 4 door.

I’m ready to place an order also, if anyone is lurking with allocations or a short list.
