Its because these boats have other manufactures cars that after sparrow point (BMW/VW) port just outside they have to enter the port under the bridge. Thats why brooklands has been stuck for 3 days waiting to get into the port after unloading for BMW.

I think they will wait for one way traffic to resume after ship and middle brisge removed in a month. I have resigned for a 6 week delay at this point. Im sure they do not want to pay to change trucking from GA to Northern areas when they can wait out for free.

I highly doubt that donington crew members will stay inside a boat on water for over a month and not get out! That will dive them crazy. Fact that it hasn’t went back to Belgium port tells me is just matter of days before they head to Baltimore or Charleston SC port

IDK I hope they start moving. Appears the Donington doing the whole 40 days & 40 nights out in the North Sea. If Brooklands left why not start steaming west?!

Donington is wating for a diff port call elsewhere, they can’t just go and show up. They have to be booked before they can arrive

Arc independence leaves Bremerhaven for Charleston tomorrow. I hope my car is on that vessel.

Well donington is at full speed headed to Baltimore now and no ship will ever go straight to Charleston. They all have to stop at Baltimore to unload. We will see what happens once this ships get there.

They'll unload at Sparrows Point (Still a Baltimore port) just outside the bridge collapse if the other 2 Baltimore ports (flip side of bridge collapse) haven't opened by the time they get there.

I hope that’s the case. I wonder what date it’s expected on Baltimore. I see different ones on the k line schedule and the vessel tracker sites.

April 8th. The Kline schedule PDF was generated on 3/20/24 for week 12. The vessel tracking sites have the real time port call. You can click on ports and see inbound docking windows for vessels also.

I would think 4/8-4/9 and hopefully by 4/20 we might see our cars. With bridge down i’m sure this some additional logistics once docked and longer driving times.
