For HK, I think for the price of our cars nowadays, there’d be plenty folks here that would pay for a more premium system if it were an option. HK is OKAY. Passable. But as another commented, the mid-tier B&O systems I’ve had on my previous vehicles (A5 SB, Q7, Q8) are indeed higher performers.

Also, as for the gold CS wheels. You might also consider the champagne colored (or whatever it’s called) 1000m wheels from BMW. Perhaps a cleaner looking spoke pattern.

Thanks for mentioning the 1000m wheel option... I haven't looked into those yet!

The Indivdual visualizer does not do Irish Green justice. That looks sooooo good! The gold wheels are going to look awesome.

Agreed. The mid-tier Bose in the 2018 Q7 I previously owned was significantly better than the BMW H&K systems I've heard.

Very interesting color for sure and pairs perfectly with the tan interior.

First impressions:

Absolutely love the Irish Green... it was worth the wait
Car feels very fast and responsive already (still in break-in period so haven't fully opened it up yet)
Harmon Kardon stereo is better than I expected after reading a lot of negative comments on here about it
Same with the stock exhaust.. sounds a lot less raspy and has a better tone in person than I was expecting... maybe I'm crazy and like the ASD?

Future mods:

Equal length midpipe
Gold CS wheels or yellow calipers with the stock black wheels

I tried to take several pictures of the Irish Green paint in different lighting so you can see how it changes.
Beautiful car!

My grandpas late 60s Fiat had that color combo. Played on back seat of that thing as I recall and the green brown colors bring it back. So forever biased, I love this.

I would paint the rims gold, not do the brake callipers. While personallly Id go silver or white wheels on this color, the gold ones will looks great (matte gold or matte bronze even?). If you dont like it or get bored, it is fairly cheap to powdercoat. If you do the brakes it will be harder to reverse, and you may find yellow a bit jarring once done. But I sense you actually really want to go that Porsche route all the way and get yellow brakes too. So its your car, I think its cool to experiment. Its just cash, at the end of the day, so give it a shot. Everything is reversible, wheels just a lot easier if that matters.

I placed my order August 28th.. it was supposed to be an October build originally, but got pushed to late November (week 47) once I selected individual paint. The longest delay was at the port in Germany where it sat for over a month before getting on a ship to Galveston. The car arrived at my dealer on February 12th and I picked it up the next day.

Agreed, I'm leaning towards the gold wheels and leaving the calipers black.

Irish green is nice!! Love it!!! Maybe yellow calipers will look like too many colors with the interior? Up to you… I did mine orange but maybe you can match the interior somewhat… or a gold… I just think a yellow is gonna stand out and you’ll have too many colors going on
