First mods:

- EDELWEISS LT°3 in Dark Chrome (10.5x20 with 285/30 and 11x20 with 295/30)

What do you think of the configuration and the wheels?

I mean, it's a dark color and a dark euro plate splitting the grille. It's an illusion.

Wheels and color combo look nice.

Beautiful shade of blue. Similar to Tanzanite but it looks like it has opposite trait. This color looks washed out in the sun, almost pastel like and amazing in overcast. Tanzanite looks amazing in the sun and very dull, flat navy, almost black in overcast. Great color for Seattle or the UK imo.

I agree. I keep looking at it and can't help but think this is the best looking of the g8x cars. Really strange cause I usually don't like convertibles. I am sure the lowered stance and wheels are helping tremendously, but the front end shape and wedge like shape of the car with the top down just works really well.

This is awesome. However, I am still yet to reconcile with the fact that it's got no carbon fiber hardtop roof

True, the lowered stance is definitely increasing the appeal but even when the G83 photos came out the first time, I had the same impression. Even the F83 IMO was a great looking convertible and would have been better if the G83 was hard top as well.
Well, it is what it is and even though I still love the F8x, am quite thankful that the G8x series isn't hybrid or electrified yet. Few of my mates are converting to the G80 from AMGs and they love the new design and I am sure they will enjoy driving it too.

Dude! Agean is such an underrated color!

I remember seeing one on an E46 M3 with M Texture and I was fawning all over it!

Even better if the transfer case and electronic peripherals are similar to what’s in the M5. Not all AWD systems are built the same, and changing wheel diameter does have catastrophic outcomes with some AWD systems. But people freely throw spacers and different offset wheels on their cars without regard for wheel bearings.

In the end, there probably is extra wear on the car. You’re always taking a chance with non-OEM.

Ok. You win. Absolutely freakin stunning. The color combination, stance and wheels takes it to a whole different level. I have heard of that color but never seen it. As always BMW does some wicked Blues. Looking forward to more pics. Enjoy it and drive safe.
