Ugh, last weekend we were away (not in the M3) and came out one morning to find the nastiest water spots I've ever seen. Visibility through the windshield was maybe 50%, and washer fluid did literally nothing.

A touchless wash got the car drivable again, but not totally clean.

Ya, very true. Hard water is a nightmare. I’d imagine those sprinklers don’t run during the day though. I’d be more worried about sap and bird crap from tree above. Not safe anywhere haha. Ideal spot; concrete lot, shade from a building; hardscaped, no sprinklers haha. I will park in the sun and do a sun shade cause I’ve parked under trees and come out and it’s all sapp-y.

Fully agreed. Shade from a nice big tree is great on a hot day. But it almost always comes at a price. Shade from a building or parking garage is best. But then there's potential door dings too. LOL The things us car lovers have to think about on a daily basis once our cars leave our driveway / garage are pretty crazy huh.
