M3 CS Mod Thread

Anyone planning to mod their CS?

Personally to start I am adding the carbon sideskirts and winglets. Was also looking at the carbon fiber mud flaps.

Planning on a SS Midpipe with h pipe. Call me crazy but going to purchase another rear CS titanium rear section so I don’t have to cut the original one. Would like to do m performance side skirts, but with little ones I would be too paranoid with them stepping on it when getting out. Will do CF mud flaps etc.

I’m considering the MPHAS and downpipes
Possibly some cosmetic cf pieces on the outside. The car is getting Xpel stealth wrap.
Wheels and that’s about it
Maybe Eventuri and that’s about it

Well maybe also charge cooler and that’s about it…

Who am I kidding. I’ve got an addiction.

Personally, I’m not touching the suspension on this car. Why would you considering a lot of the premium your paying for the car is the retuned suspension.

Learned the hard way after lowering my M4CS.

Only thing I’m adding is a down pipe for sound on this one

Because some of us actually track our cars...

Funny 😆

Considering I track my car 😆

And if I bought a CS to track it, I wouldn’t be paying a premium to change the whole damn trajectory of the suspension, which I’ve PAID a premium to get.

If you wanna track the car drive it as it’s intended, and if you wanna mod the car by a M3 competition.

Sounds like your just wasting your money. Or you bought the M3CS for status. Which one?

I bought the CS to be Instagram famous. In all honesty, I have not seen a CS in real life so I won’t know how much it sits off the ground but I do like a lowered look which is why I would consider the MPHAS.

Well, there’s nothing wrong in buying a car for status, if I had the money my garage would be full of Lambo’s and Ferraris. But it’s not.

I bought the CS because I will track it and daily it. Because I’m tracking, I wouldn’t lower the CS otherwise I would buy a m3 comp and lower that and tune it and it would be faster than a CS around a track. But that would defeat the purpose of the CS.

Just my two cents.

The Ti silencer (muffler) clamps to the steel mid pipe so you only need to buy that piece.

Yes! I was not clear in my post when saying rear section I meant TI muffler. Would you happen to know if the current tips transfer over or will I need new tips and if so I wonder if the M performance tips would fit the TI muffler?

To clarify, if your plan is to cut in an aftermarket mid-pipe with the option to restore back to original you would only need to buy the CS midpipe, not the muffler. Unlike the regular M4 where the midpipe and muffler is one piece. Not sure about the MP tips.

That is good to know bc I thought it was all one piece like the regular G80/G82

Thank you for the info!

Car is getting Xpel and Ceramic coated first. I will put some BBS FI-R EVO2's or RI-D's on it and possibilty an Eventuri Intake, maybe. I'm exploring Surface Transforms CCST Rotors and an Unobtainium Custom Titianium mid-pipe/exhaust. I have both the Surface Transforms & Unobtanium Exhausts on my McLaren.

Anyone want to join me in the exhaust? We need to find someone in Alberta Canada for a test fit. Picture of my 720s exhaust as an example

DM me.

Downpipe is a great choice in combination with a valve controller or fixed fully open. All bolt on, no cutting, easily reversed and sound is amazing. The Ti muffler has a deeper tone that works well in this setup. I'll try to post some clips.
