MSRP however a long wait Florida

Hello to all,
Well I have finally decided to pull the trigger on a brand new BMW M3! I’ve been cheap for too long…I found a dealership in Florida that will give me an M3 for MSRP but I would be number 16 on the list does anybody know of a dealership that is more expeditious? With the caveat I don’t wanna pay a market adjustment price… I plan on going and picking it up myself in South Carolina and doing the BMW performance school so I would consider buying up there or anywhere on the East Coast for that matter your thoughts appreciate it thanks!

You will probably be waiting for a while being 16 on a waiting list. I would look through the forum for a broker , many MSRP deals are popping up now just need to be aggressive and proactive. You could also look for out of state dealers, since you want to do PCD, doesn't matter where you buy as long as they work with out of state buyers. Good luck

I would suggest simply calling around. There are many dealerships in the FL / GA / SC region that will sell at MSRP (and some have even changed from ADM to MSRP recently). My process was simple: I looked up BMW dealerships within a 300 mile radius (that's as far as I wanted to drive) and started making calls and found one with an available allocation. This was a few months ago and I've heard allocations are generally even easier to come by today.

I bought mine at a BMW dealership in Birmingham, Alabama (BMW of Birmingham). I know its kind of far from you, but it was at MSRP and I waited 7 months. The car arrived in November. Not sure what the wait is currently, maybe its worth a shot.

Day Laborer can take care of you. Send him a DM. He worked magic for me to get a FO Jahre and he can find you an allocation for just about any spec you’re looking. Give him a shout!

Had an M4 manual on order from a dealer allocation and the car was stuck in aca for 9 weeks.
Sales person kept me informed bi weekly and a cancellation came available from a customer that bailed out 1 hour before taking delivery.
His loss my gain, have an M4 comp now with more options, different color scheme, but very happy.
All in all 9 weeks wait, but price was MSRP.
Got it from Braman West Palm Beach.

I placed an order with Fort Lauderdale BMW Pembroke pines in August 22 and was awaiting an allocation.I took my X3MC in for service end of October at the same dealership and my SA advised me that he ordered a G8O and it has arrive however he will not be going forward with the purchase and if I want it its mine.
It had all the options I had on my build however it was black and I ordered DGM.
I jumped on it and closed the deal hours after at MSRP and its now sitting in my garage.I also kept my place on their list for my original order.

The news of a bad recession in 2023 plus the high interest rates. I can imagine many people will be backing out of big purchases.

I work for a dealer on the east coast as well.

We have a 20+ list. Telling clients it’s about a 2 year wait.

M4 is a different story

I just ordered from Delray Beach, FL BMW. They are an Autonation Dealer and apparently have outlawed adding a market adjustment price (according to salesman) so I am paying MSRP plus tax, shipping, and dealer fee ($995). I am currently 8th in line and have an approximate wait time of 5 months.

What region of Florida? Curious as I’m in central FL and just placed an order. Unfortunately some of the west coast dealers were charging ADM and CRAZY dealer fees on top of that as well as plenty of discussions about large deposits and some refundable. I decided to stick fairly local as I prefer to start the relationship and have the opportunity to continue one with a dealer close to me….but I’m definitely overly curious how long my wait is about to be. I was told his last 6MT customer waited 10 months from order to delivery but comp/comp xdrive was 12 months minimum wait time. I’m ok with 10 months but really rather not be sitting in line for over a year and a half to start having some fun.

Is that wait time for an allocation or wait time to delivery? (ie are they saying you should be able to get assigned a production number within the next 2 months or so?)

When did they "outlaw" ADM? I tried working with them last year, and they wouldn't budge off a $10k ADM. Good service department though.

Also, if you are 8th in line, your wait time will be a lot longer than 5 months.

You got a fair deal. If you are willing to consider an in-stock unit, my friend has a couple available and will do MSRP (maybe a little less than MSRP). PM me if you want specifics.

I lucked out with a local dealer. Ordered a M4C at MSRP last May with no add on crap. The allocation came through in early October. Took delivery 1st week of December. I was #1 on the list. When I was signing the paperwork I asked how many allocations they were getting for G80/G82's. He said it was sporadic at best. He wasn't happy that BMW was sending convertibles. Fine for summer but we have a long winter in NH. My dealer is a M Certified Center. Go figure..

If my memory serves me correctly I believe he said the beginning of the year. GREAT service dpt, everyone there is awesome.

I guess they get in like 2-3 orders at a time every couple months. Shit I'll be happy if I get it in August lmao
