The price differences from country to country are really significant. Here in Switzerland the M4 Comp xDrive (with standard spec) and base 992 Carrera cost almost exactly the same.

Pictures appear to show a carbon fiber roof with a sun roof. That's new.

It's not a carbon roof. If you option the sunroof, you get get a black painted roof (not sure if you can option it without the black paint or not).

Looks like the leather flat bottom wheel is standard and the alcantara version is part of the carbon package.

It is both a stand alone option and a part of the Carbon package.

I previously owned a ‘22 G80 M3 and currently have a ‘24 G82 M4 Comp X-Drive. The M3 is more practical with the 4 doors and seating for 5 but the M4 looks and feels more like a sports car. The M4 has much more practicality than the 911 when it comes to rear seating. I’m 6 feet and can sit comfortably back there and my teenage/adult kids fit back there fine. No way they’d fit in the 911. (We tried) The 911 is no doubt an amazing car but you’re talking 60-80K price difference when you factor in ADMs and comparable options.

Sorry if this has been asked before, but do you all think the flat bottom steering wheel will be an option to buy from BMW directly and have them install in my 2024 G82? And if so, do you all think the heater function will still be able to be activated for the idrive8 controls since there’s not a button on it?

Previous alcantara offerings from BMW (M Performance) did not retain the heating functionality.

Still has that beaver-style grille that only a mother could love... Needs a total revamp for the front.
Oh well to those who like it, kudos to you. People have different tastes, but to me it still looks

In the flesh it’s actually a pretty good looking car. Lowered a tad with a square wheel setup it’s darn aggressive. I also think it has better proportions than the E and F coupe, imo, in which I preferred the sedan versions. I still like the M3 better (minus the rear door/fender interface), but the M4 is still pretty sweet. |
