We have what might be the first spotted M4 LCI in it’s G83 form.
What does everyone think of the new headlights? Will there be a laser light option or is this it? What other additions will we see with the LCI? Shout out to nearwater4me for providing the link in another forum https://www.motor1.com/news/665610/b...vertible-trim/

I prefer the DRLs (with Laser lights) which comes in the pre LCI as the updated one looks like just another vehicle on the road.
With the recent reveals, i think BMW bangle headlights will be a thing of the past. |

vj123 I completely agree. These new headlights are better than the standard pre-LCI headlight imo but don’t come close to the laser lights. Those are something else.
I get the sense that there won’t be any laser light options for the LCI and that this will be the only option available

Historically, the LCI lights were always better looking, aesthetically.
Not sure if this generation will follow suit... Don't want to say too soon, but I think I prefer the current laser light DRLs. The rears, I'm gonna have to see the full reveal. |

Honestly, the LCI lights look reminiscent to the audi lights... just much thicker and without the eyebrow. I do like how the middle DRL almost lines up with the slanted ducts on the bottom, but I still prefer my current laser lights compared to what we CAN see. I can barely make out the rear lights so

As suspected, a fairly minor LCI. I guess all the people expecting a new grill will be disappointed, again.

Maybe they’ll throw an updated version of iDrive in as well but those half versions always seem to be a let down. There isn’t much changed and you just find yourself missing a fair amount of features from the full fledged updated version.

FWIW I think these updated 2025 M3/M4 headlights (coming in July 2024) look BETTER than the standard LCI 2023 3-series headlights. See attached pics.
Just my opinion, but I think once we see the fully-revealed version with the M3/M4 grill people will warm up to them. Yes, I agree the current laser-light option M3/M4 headlights look better than everything else.

Bummer they didn't redesign the grill, or at least redesign the driving pro sensor thing or its placement.

Looking forward to seeing what the LCI tails look like, usually one of my favorite retrofits.

There are now multiple camouflage images with the air vents in the shape of the carbon fiber pieces. I wonder if one of the LCI changes will be the standard version having black diagonal inserts versus the honeycomb grill. That would be a nice addition to swap out for us without the carbon fiber package.

Yes, both non-adaptive LED and adaptive LEDs have identical DRLs. Finally. Source: G20 LCI and G05 LCI do not have Lasers anymore. Neither do the G60 and G70.

Exactly! I was wondering what this reminded of. I do prefer the pre LCI.
